Students complete five weekend modules, a clinical practicum (therapeutic playing for approximately 100 patients), required reading list, and develop at least 90 minutes of appropriate repertoire for patient conditions. In 2014-2015, east coast modules are being offered in MI, MD, NY, NH, IL, VA, NC and Ontario, Canada. MHTP trains musicians in the art and science of providing therapeutic music at the bedside.
