Astrological Forecast for July 2010

July reminds us of the beach. It is now hot enough here in New England to swim and just play in the ocean waters. July also reminds us of those born under the sign of Cancer and Leo the Lion.

This month Aries is thinking over creative projects, Leo has more to say, Virgo is enjoying the pleasures of life for a change, Cancer is starting a six month cycle with some extra luck, Libra is ready to get serious in relationships, Aquarius is completing a project, Virgo is getting picky again by the end of the month and Libra is wanting physical connection in romance.

We start off with Uranus turning retrograde (appears to be moving backwards) on July 5^th at 12:50PM. Uranus is in the sign of Aries and for those born under the sign of the ram they are ready to consider new projects they have been thinking about.

It is time to do some of the needed work to manifest their dreams by the middle of December and move into 2011 with more abundance as Uranus rules inventions and creative thinking. Uranus moves back into Pisces on August 14^th.

Mercury move into the sign of Leo on July 9^th . This will fill the minds of those born under the sign of Leo till the end of this month. They will have more to say and the need to create more silence in their lives to calm and steady the active mind. Creativity will also be high for writers born under the sign of Leo or if your chart is influenced by Leo rising or Moon placed in Leo.

Venus moves into Virgo on July 10^th allowing those born under the sign of Virgo to attract more money in their lives till August 6^th. Also, it helps Virgo’s to attract love and beauty around them. They may find themselves renovating their home with fresh paint, buying some new furniture or just enjoying a night out with friends.

The new Moon Solar Eclipse on July 11 is in the sign of Cancer at 19 degrees. The new Moon signature chart is in the sign of Capricorn which is the opposite sign of Cancer. Those born under the sign of Cancer are starting a new six month cycle which brings extra luck there way in life. This is because the Sun and Moon trine the part of fortune and Solar Eclipses are more potent than a regular new Moon.

Pluto will trine Venus showing a relaxed sense of mind. The psychological complexities of life seem less over the next six months for those born under the sign of Cancer. Mars is making sextiles to both the Sun and the Moon showing the physical world will provide opportunities for Cancer and Virgo. Look for increased salaries or increase of fertility in women born under these two signs over the next six months. Someone will be announcing pregnancy in the family.

The ocean is affiliated with Cancer. The crab is the symbol of Cancer and the Gulf continues to be a problem here. The reason is Pluto which rules oil is forming a tight t-square as it did last month with a Uranus/Jupiter conjunction in Aries at zero to three degrees and Saturn at 29 degrees in Virgo. Another indication that the oil spill in the Gulf will take time to stabilize.

Sometime from November of 2010 to January of 2011. President Obama and the Democratic Party are in for a wake up call in November as the oil spill and a slow moving economy is not what you need during the time of an election year.

Hurricanes will be coming on strong as Pluto connected to Uranus/Jupiter packs a powerful punch from the t-square. And Saturn is the planet of past karma in the sign of Virgo also brings health issues and devastation to the marine life and wetlands. The oil could spread anywhere from the Gulf of Mexico as far as up the North East coast line and also effect the western shorelines of the Gulf.

I don’t see it moving beyond Long Island over the summer months if it turns east from hurricane activity. This will depend on the strength of a hurricane. A category 5 could cause the oil to move up the East Coast affecting New England shorelines.

Other consideration will be strong earthquakes, tornado or fires as the summer months will be hotter than normal.

The affirmation for the first half of this month is: MAY THE MIRICLES OF THE UNIVERSE PROTECT THE MARINE LIFE IN OUR OCEAN WATERS.

Saturn moves into the sign of Libra on July 21^st at 11:10AM EDT. The sign of Libra is considering a serious relationship or breaking off an existing one. We could see new laws written for a marriage contract. This will be around a two and a half year period from this date. It also helps Libra mature and get a handle on how to balance their personal life with their professional life. It is time for Librans to say no to what they feel is not uplifting for them.

The Sun moves into the sign of Leo on July 22^nd and the attention is given to those who just love attention. If you’re a Leo now is the time to shine and allow yourself to be creative with yourself and children. Leo rules the fifth house which is affiliated with children.

The full Moon in Aquarius is at three degrees on July 25^th. It happens at 9:37PM EDT. This full Moon has a Leo signature indicating that leaders in society and the free world will gain in recognition. Those born under the sign of Aquarius are original and offbeat.

This full Moon is asking Aquarians to step forward and lead over the next couple of weeks till the new Moon on August 9^th. If you’re born under this air sign then you may find yourself taking that extra step in moving into a more expanded level of your vocation. You have come to a conclusion that it is time to move forward and complete that special project you’ve been working on for the last six months.

This full Moon continues to have stressful aspects from Pluto, Saturn and the Uranus/Jupiter conjunction. The oil situation is still a huge problem as Mars conjuncts Saturn during this full Moon causing continued accidents and physical damage from the oil spewing itself out. And, the Mars conjunct Saturn in the t-square could indicate attempted terrorist attacks worldwide from July 21^st till August 9^th.

However, the increased oil problem could bring about new and innovative technologies to clean this mess up such as the invention from Kevin Costner. Aquarius is the sign most inventors are born under or influenced by in their natal chart. Since this full Moon is in Aquarius and both Saturn and Mars are trine to this full Moon, this could be the turning point for the better in the Gulf regarding a solution to stop the oil from leaking.

Since the Moon rules the tides of the ocean and there are stressful aspects we could see a major hurricane hovering around the time of this full Moon give or take a few days before and after it.

We cannot rule out the appearance of UFO’s hovering around the Gulf during this time also. And with a conjunction from Neptune and Chiron we could see a major healing in the collective consciousness surrounding this oil spill. Neptune is also affiliated with the ocean as it rules Pisces. A major humanitarian effort is in store for this as the Leo signature of this full Moon could bring about a major gathering of celebrities to raise money and help out.

Mercury moves into Virgo on July 27^th and those born under this practical and conservative earth sign have clear minds as the thinking process is refined. Over the next two weeks or so Virgo’s will feel that they can think and manifest what they want.

Mars will enter Libra on July 29^th and over the next couple of months or so Libra is ready to manifest romance and pursue any vocational goals they have set for themselves. They may become more demanding in their relationships. This is healthy for them as they tend to say yes too much and need to get in touch with what they want from others rather than always trying to keep the peace and pretending not to really have any input. Mars will help with this.

The affirmation for the second half of this month is: HUMANITY CAN COME TOGETHER AND OVERCOME ANY OBSTACLES.
