Excerpt from page 268: Whether you are aware of it or not, your unconscious mind is always searching for the truth. That search, unfortunately, can take many detours along the winding journey of your soul. You may have been trying to live your life in a past life pattern that’s not the same now as it was before. There may be positive and negative components to that pattern. You may not have to get rid of the whole, just the part that is holding you back from your life purpose. You can change old behavior patterns; it just takes the willingness to examine them and to communicate with the voice inside you that represents your free will.
And old fault from a past life may actually be a gift or talent in this lifetime if you are willing to resolve the karma attached to it. Where you used your abilities for self-satisfaction and gain in another life, you can use for good in your current life. Of course, you can still use your power for self-gain. The choice is yours.
