Your Horoscope for September 2009

Aries (3/21 – 4/20)
September brings a time of strain with partner-ships and a decision to move into another direc-tion. Mercury retrogrades on the 7 th causing some confusion. Pick your battles wisely, or better yet, refuse to fight at all. The art of compromise will serve you both at home and at work. The 11th brings the final touch to the job changes that have been coming over the past few months. This may seem overwhelming at first, but will pay off in the long run. You clean up and change your appearance at month’s end.
Taurus (4/21-5/21)
After Mercury retro-grades on the 7 th, new assignments and super-visors can make life difficult on the job. Remember to pace yourself since your energy level may be lower that usual. Adhere to a tight schedule and get every-thing down in writing. You cannot afford to make any mistakes while Mercury is moving backward. Sign up for a yoga or Pilates class to gain focus on your mind and body.
Gemini (5/21-6/20)
September gets the ball rolling on an investment you may have been shaky about since last April. Things speed up at work, and a partner may interest you in a new venture. Take your time deciding and wait until October begins if you can. In the meantime, review your portfolio. After the 22 nd take time out for romance. You may talk all business, but relax and allow pleasure to come first.
Cancer (6/21-7/22)
This is a powerful month for Cancerians. There are many decisions coming regarding your family and relationships this fall. Ask your loved ones for advice, and think about ways that you can spend more time together. Come up with an action plan at the Fall Equinox. However, don’t implement it until after Mercury goes direct on the 29 th. You will feel great and enjoy yourself more.
Leo (7/23-8/22)
September brings you Leo’s a warning about communication. After the 7 th be careful about telephone messages and e-mails. You may inadvertently erase the message or delete an important e-mail. Money can slip right through your fingers so keep close track of your expenses. You may not get a response to an important application or query you’ve made until after the 29th, when Mercury turns direct. The five-month period of reorganization at work is over, bringing you new opportunities in early October.
Virgo (8/23-9/22)
Powerful energy forces are at play throughout Sept-ember for you Virgos. It may all hit you directly in the pocketbook. Your personal finances could suffer a minor setback. You may have spent too much over the summer, and are now facing paying it off. A house appliance may have given out, or you suffered major car repairs. On the other hand, it is time to get direct when handling your children! Try to do something memor-able and exciting with them over the fall months. At the Fall Equinox, someone you’ve had your eye on may begin to notice you. Smile back, Virgo.
Libra (9/23-10/22)
September promises to be helpful to you in many ways, Libra. Your energy level is off the charts, allowing you to balance several demanding projects at once. Your domestic situation changes with something that may have been touch and go since last April. Housing situations change for the better, and you may finally be able to move into larger quarters. At the Fall Equinox you get a chance to use that famous Libra charm, one of your many attributes. This will bring you success in many areas over the fall months.
Scorpio (10/23-11/22)
The energies of September impact your daily schedule. When Mercury retrogrades on the 7 th, you may be more active than usual, causing you to spend more time on the computer or at the library. Take your vitamins and be sure to get a good night’s sleep, since you may not take care of yourself as well as you should. After the 11th you begin to discipline your mind to keep yourself on schedule. After Mercury goes direct on the 29th go out with friends and have a blast. Stop thinking so much. You don’t need to dissect everything, Scorpio!
Sagittarius (11/23-12/21)
Watch for some misunder-standings with someone you’ve known for years when Mercury retrogrades on the 7 th Sag. Keep your opinions to yourself right now. There are several emotional issues and decisions to be made now. On the 17th you may be discouraged when work begins to seem tedious. After the Fall Equinox your efforts at work will begin to pay off.
Capricorn (12/22-1/19)
Last month may have been a time for travel, but this month is definitely not. While you can make plans for a trip, slowly and carefully, checking everything twice, do not go out on the road unless you absolutely have to. You may be interested in some higher education courses and sign up to take a class. You plan to at least attend a lecture or two. You make a good impression on others all month long.
Aquarius (1/20-2/18)
Last month’s money issues continue through September, Aquarius. Despite the confusion this could cause, you could catch a break around the 17 th. If at some point you become exasperated, just ask any of the snooty bureaucratic types you’ve been dealing with, "Can I please speak to your supervisor?" What a difference a little question like that can make. Suddenly, after the 17th, everything begins to run smoothly and matters are settled in record time. After Mercury goes direct on the 29th, all is wrapped up, over and done with, successfully.
Pisces (2/19-3/20)
Your desire to meet an important career goal is likely to be rekindled after the 8 th. From this point you have exactly 79 days to complete this project with planetary support.
