Hi Dana,

There are no coincidences, but a series of negative events can happen for a number of reasons. At times they are brought on by our own stress or our need to learn spiritual lessons, and at other times they may be directed toward us from others. Because there is no distance with prayer, thoughts or energy, many individuals are unaware that negative energy patterns can literally be sent to them from another person. Someone who may be jealous, envious, resentful, competitive or angry in regards to you can sometimes send you negative vibrations with their thought forms. These destructive thoughts can be sent to you regardless of where the other person resides in the world! People sending you these harmful thoughts may themselves be confused, frustrated, have mental problems or be substance abusers who possess scattered energy. These psychic attacks from others tend to come on quickly, and manifestations of them can include frequent accidents, lawsuits, hurtful situations that involve you or your family, pets, home or possessions. There may also be physical symptoms of psychic attacks. These can include dull pain in the solar plexus region (or lower abdomen), heart palpitations, a feeling of heaviness in the body or lower extremities, a feeling of restlessness, dread or fear. You may also experience mild nausea, headaches or reoccurring nightmares as well. While some people feel disturbing physical symptoms or experience negative situations, there are cases where all of these occurrences happen at one time creating total incapacitation for the individual.

First, if you suspect you are under psychic attack, stop and think about what has transpired with your relationships recently. Did you terminate a friendship which had become draining as you described? Did you break off an intimate relationship which was confining or controlling? Did you become involved with someone new who you’re not sure of? Have your interactions with others been antagonistic or conflicting in any way? Or do you suspect jealousy, envy or anger from someone around you? Someone who is not for your highest good may have recently entered your workspace, neighborhood or environment. You will find that the timing of your attacks may coincide with relationship changes that have taken place. In some cases you don’t even have to know the person sending you these vibes. And also be aware that the attacker may not consciously know they are hurting you with their thoughts.

So once you have identified the person who you feel is attacking you (as you already have done), lie down, close your eyes and in your mind’s eye visualize that person’s face, their heart region and solar plexus region (the lower abdomen area below the navel). If you cannot pinpoint who is attacking you, then visualize a silhouette of a person standing in front of you and use it to do the exercise. Imagine a dark red cord extending from the middle of their forehead to your forehead. Now see a thick dark red cord extending from their heart to your heart and a cord from their solar plexus region to yours. These cords bind the negative energy that is being sent to you, and they need to be cut.

Next, call upon Archangel Michael, the divine protector, to assist you with the cord cutting process. Visualize a very large pair of golden shears. Hold the golden scissors and again see the cords attached to you from the attacker. Then say the following:

See the attachments severed and falling away. Do this exercise a few times during the day and before you go to sleep at night. If this indeed is a psychic assault, almost immediately after doing the exercise, you will start to feel better and stronger; and you will begin to see positive changes and improvements in your life a few days later.

Then Dana, remember to visualize white light surrounding your body every morning and ask the Creator to only send you people for your highest good and theirs! This is a protective affirmation that can help prevent the reoccurrence of this type of problem in the future.

Yes, I feel your dad Charlie is a "spiritual guide" of your little girl. Before we incarnate on the earth plane (in our specific soul group), we make soul agreements with each other. I feel when your dad passed away he met up with Cara’s soul and contracted to be a spirit guide and protector of her throughout this lifetime. Children ages 1 to 5 can easily tap into the other side and see the departed because their soul is just newly implanted in their body, and they’re still connected to that frequency.
