I’m very sorry for your loss. When I attempted to contact Volke, it was apparent to me that he was no longer in the Spirit World and had in fact already reincarnated. Sometimes I’m not able to communicate with animals when they are in a subsequent incarnation, but often I’m able to connect with the animal’s Higher Self and communicate that way. It’s a very beautiful experience, as the insights communicated can be quite profound. This was the case with Volke.

The first image Volke gave me was of batting at something with his paw. I think it was a dangling mouse toy. He also showed me an image of brushing up against you quite enthusiastically, and I got the feeling that he both enjoyed doing this in life and continued to do so after he crossed over. Volke knows how much you love him, and doesn’t want you to feel guilty about the way he crossed over. He purposely didn’t let you know that he was sick because he felt it was his time and didn’t want to go through medical intervention. Volke said that you would have done whatever you could to save him, and that just wasn’t what was meant to be.

Volke is sorry that he had to leave you, but wants you to understand that every being comes into this world with a purpose. His soul’s plan with you was fulfilled and it was time for him to move on. Volke has reincarnated as a deaf albino cat, and feels that he is doing very important work teaching lessons about compassion and love. He’s with a woman with a "D" name, possibly Deborah. Deborah has a small daughter with whom Volke has a special bond. He feels that he’s with them mainly for this little girl, and that growing up with him is crucial for her development.

Volke is sorry that he was unable to return to you. He loves you very much, and is simply meant to be elsewhere in this incarnation. He asked me to thank you for the wonderful life he had with you, and said that everything is a progression of learning, and he wouldn’t have been able to fulfill his role in his current life without first having been with you. Volke does feel that you will be together again in the future, and wants you to know that the love between your souls is eternal and will enable you to find one another again when the time is right.
