The Question and Answer Process
This free flow writing exercise can be used anytime you are ready to ask questions and get answers to any aspect of your life. When you follow this exercise with a true and pure intent, you will be astonished at how easily the requested information surfaces in your awareness. If you are in an elevated emotional state (either positive or negative) do not do this exercise. Wait until you are in a more balanced and calm state of mind. Mild emotional states are fine, however, intense emotional states are not conducive to the process.
Here is how the Question and Answer Process works.
1. Find a quiet place with no distractions (for example, phone, television, peripheral noise), where you know you won’t be disturbed for at least one hour.
2. Set a relaxing mood in the room (for example, by adjusting the lighting, burning a candle, sitting in a comfortable chair at an uncluttered table or desk).
3. In an effort to be in the most contented state of mind as possible, take a few slow, deep breaths.
4. Concentrate on the most important question in your life right now.
5. Write this question as clearly and succinctly as you can at the top of a piece of paper.
6. The moment you finish the question, immediately begin writing down every thought that enters your mind. Do not stop writing until you have exhausted all of the possible answers that came into your mind as a result of asking your question.
7. Here’s the key to the process. When you finish writing the question down new thoughts will start to enter your mind. Do not judge them. Do not rationalize them. Do not think about them. Just write them down. No matter what thought pops into your mind, no matter how silly it sounds, how frightening it feels, or how ridiculous, humiliating, or unrelated it seems, write it down.
8. Do not look at what you have written or analyze it in any way until you are finished doing the exercise.
9. Write down every one of your thoughts until no more new thoughts enter your mind. That’s when you are done.
If you followed the steps outlined above without blocking or thinking about what you were writing down, expect to be amazed at what you learn. You may not like the answers, you may not be happy with what you have written, and you may not be ready to face the information, nonetheless you will have your answers.
You can use this exercise on the same question an unending number of times. The more closely you follow the guidelines above, the more effective you will be at allowing many of the answers to your questions to be written down right in front of your eyes.
relates to the creation of the experience of life.
About Howard Falco:
Howard grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, graduated from college in Arizona in 1989 and shortly afterwards entered the financial world as an investment manager. He married in 1994 and has two children.
In August 2002, shortly after his 35th birthday, something rather remarkable happened. In the middle of ordinary life, this married father of two, with no background in spirituality, quantum physics or religion, went through a spontaneous and massive shift in consciousness that revealed the answers to more about life than he ever imagined knowing.
The result for Howard was an immediate release from all disharmony and fear in life. A direct connection between everything in the world and each object in existence was seen for its complete purpose and perfection. Revealed during this experience was the core condition underlying all human action and reaction, joy and suffering. The experience of peace and tranquility pervaded every part of him.
The depth of this new insight unveiled the answers to many of the larger questions that humanity has asked for centuries, such as “Who am I?” “Why am I here?” and “Why do I suffer?”
Stunned and inspired by this powerful knowledge and the realization of the way each of us create the experience of our lives, Howard set out to honor the experience by sharing what he learned. After taking over two years to fully process this awareness, he has authored a new book on human understanding and potential titled, I AM: The Power of Discovering Who You Really Are.
For Howard, one of the most exciting revelations from his transformation is that all of the answers to your questions already exist and are available to you now. Regardless of the current set of circumstances you find yourself in, you are never denied true peace in your life if that is what you intend. You only have to realize that you are both capable and worthy of it.
I AM: The Power of Discovering Who You Really Are, is scheduled for release on September 2nd of 2010 through Tarcher/Penguin Group Publishing.
