Astrological Forecast for June 2007

“Hurry up and wait” is an apt phrase for the month. Fiery Mars is in impatient Aries until the 24^th, urging you to pick up the pace. At the same time, intellectual Mercury is slowing down to turn retrograde in watery Cancer on the 15^th. Fire and water can run amok when unchecked, so keep a healthy set of boundaries this month.

The key to taking advantage of June’s planetary energies is to create a healthy mix between rapid movement and couch-potato time. Allow for planetary energies to cycle you from the hills of activity to the quiet valleys. Enjoy the ride.

The month begins with the moon in Sagittarius, so play on Friday. The tone changes on Saturday when the moon in Capricorn motivates you to be productive. This working weekend prepares you to initiate ambitious plans on Monday morning the 4^th.

The desire for passion, creativity, and romance steps to the forefront beginning Tuesday the 5^th when relationship planet Venus enters heart-warming Leo. Venus normally spends three weeks in a sign, but will now be in Leo most of the time through early October. This is highly significant as you are about to review the way you are operating in issues of love and money. More will be said about the coming Venus retrograde cycle in the July issue. For now, know that you are getting a preview of aspects of your life that must change to give you more play and passion.

The most eventful day in early June comes on the afternoon of Saturday the 9^th. The life-giving Sun is in a challenging square relationship to revolutionary Uranus. This gives the weekend an exciting tone if you are willing to flow with unexpected changes. Meet new people and be willing to try a new method.

Monday the 11^th begins a solid work week. Be productive and tend to details before Mercury turns retrograde on Friday the 15^th. Take care of important phone calls, back up your computer, and confirm appointments/schedules.

Just prior to Mercury retrograde is the New Moon on Thursday the 14^th. It is aligned with the star Mintaka in Orion’s Belt. Metaphysical philosophy suggests that the pyramids in Giza are associated with the Orion constellation and god of the dead Osiris. With the new moon also tied to the planet of death, Pluto, now is the time to review your life to see what needs to be released or transformed.

Look to your emotions for the answer. Whether it is old emotional wounds or activities/people that do not nurture you, you must lower frequencies of vibration including attitudes and behaviors.

The moon moves into kingly Leo just in time for Father’s Day. Leo energy likes to have their ego’s stroked, so do a little extra for the father in your life this year. Creative and playful activities are favored for all.

Go to sleep early on Monday the 18^th to avoid unnecessary conflict when your ideas are challenged by external forces. Tuesday the 19^th is a better day to achieve harmonious results for your actions and plans.

Be aware that unexpected changes from friends or associates are likely, so prepare your emotions to be flexible to shifting plans.
