Life: Something You Make-Up as You Go Along

If you could get rid of yourself just once,

The secret of secrets would open to you.

Now that I have reached trail’s end and rest, waiting to begin another part of the adventure- I have some time to reflect and wonder what will be of use for those who travel after me. You see, we are all on a journey and have been taught to view this adventure, only in certain ways. Much of my time has been spent trying to free myself from the beliefs and conditioning of others; trying to find my own Path, as it were, and yet join with the others about me.

As I rest and reflect, here are some thoughts to consider about our individual journeys.

• Life is all about you; it is something you make-up as you go along- from moment to moment.

• When you enter the earth phase, you bring with you certain skills, abilities, and a life plan to follow. Always listen to yourself so you can hear what you would like to do.

• Often, the conditioning of society and its rules influences and disrupts what we would really like to do. Somehow, you must go beyond this conditioning and find out who you really are.

• Inside each of us, we have everything that we need to make the journey and must learn to awaken all the different parts of ourselves.

• We are multi-level beings who have come here to experience, create, and enjoy this opportunity to be who we really are.

• To love another and help, share and enjoy your life together is one of the greatest joys available in the earth phase.

• Remember, you are a child of spirit and must learn to express this aspect of yourself as well. Here it is easy to get lost in all the physical wonders and experiences; forgetting who we really are- a child of spirit who has entered the earth phase to grow closer to our lasting self and the Light.

• As you grow older and the many layered physical dimension is taken from you; you must learn to experience this declining aspect with peace and love. For it is the beginning of the transition back to the world of spirit from which we came.

• Often in the earth phase, there is a friction between what we would like to do and what is actually available, at any given time; this friction exists to push us forward.

• In this phase, it is pretty hard to screw-up; there is always another day, another lifetime and another realm to get it right.

• Remember, turn toward the highest part of yourself each day and moment; this part is always in touch with the Source and will guide you through the many worlds.

Dear traveler, today, this is my list of things I have learned, and I have enjoyed sharing them with you. Please remember, my list is always changing and being updated.

I hope some of these lessons will help you on your journey, and help motivate you to create your own list of life lessons.
