Ask the Astrology guy
by Reverend Jeff Pica
Hey Astrology Guy,
I’ve had a lot of depressing stuff happen to me lately and for the past year - and I a when and if I get a break and if things will turn around - particularly in business and my love/relationship life.
I was born on May 19, 1959 at 6:47 am - can you help me?
Thank you!
Cathy
Hi Cathy,
I can see why it’s been a trying time for you.
From a broader perspective, 2011brought you the opportunity to transform your entire approach to how you view love relationships, helping you to understand what you want, what you need, what you give ... Your progressed Venus became conjunct (close to) your natal Pluto which normally brings about a very deep, profound relationship, marked by extreme passion and possessiveness. If a relationship such as this began in 2011 it probably is/was a highly sexual one, affecting the very core of you, as you attempt to experience ultimate emotional security through the merging with another person. With the transiting planet Uranus squaring your Ascendant/Descendant axis, the relationship most likely was a whirlwind romance, igniting very quickly.
Unfortunately, I can see 2011 also brought about much confusion, hardship, and a feeling of having your hands tied, as transiting Neptune squared your natal Sun, and transiting Saturn squared your natal Sun and Mars. Similar to the transformation of your love and relationship life, and whether you were aware of it or not, the structure of your life, what you've always relied upon as a given, went through a reorganization as well, as transiting Pluto conjuncted your natal Saturn.
On a lighter note, your career came to a 12 year high in 2011, as transiting Jupiter conjuncted your progressed MidHeaven (the top of the chart.) You may have experienced a promotion or some kind of career recognition, even public acknowledgement.
If you did begin a passionate relationship in 2011, then it most likely will continue through 2012, or if it was “too hot to handle” and broke off in 2011, it could resurface in 2012, as your progressed Venus comes conjunct to your progressed Pluto. If you have a difficulty in feeling full in a relationship, you may have a tendency to fill up your needs by taking in more and more, however, what Venus combined with Pluto is trying to show you is that rather than trying to take in more, learn how to let go and give of yourself. An important note for 2012 though, as transiting Neptune opposes your Venus, is to make sure all your relationship communications and perceptions are clear. Additionally, the pace of your daily life will greatly increase in Winter 2012 when your progressed Mercury conjuncts Uranus.
An area of concern may be within your home with repairs, or with being responsible for a family member as Saturn begins a transit through your Fourth House in the Fall of 2012. In addition, if there were changes to the structures in your life that you fought against in 2011 when transiting Pluto conjuncted your Saturn, then in 2012 you'll be dealing with more severe challenges to those structures as transiting Uranus now squares your Saturn, a harsher transit.
2012 in general brings more career success and career high points as transiting Jupiter conjuncts your progressed MidHeaven. 2012 in general is also a great year of personal growth as transiting Jupiter conjuncts your natal Sun and Mercury, trines your Moon, and squares your Venus and Mars. All wonderful transits.
