Astrological Forecast for September 2007

It’s time for another one of those life-changing attitude adjustments. Restruct-uring Saturn moves into organizing Virgo on the 2nd and begins to change the core structure of your life. There is no need to panic, because this process will take until July 2010.

The immediate opportunity is to purify yourself. This can range from cleansing body- mind- spirit to an end of summer garage sale. The lesson is to release that which reduces your power. Stalled projects and energetically draining people need to make an exit from your life. This gives you renewed energy for the next phase of your life expression.

The last time Saturn was in Virgo (Nov. 1977-Sept. 1980), Iran was constantly in the news after their revolution, and diplomatic relations were created between Israel and Egypt. Now, Iran’s President is greatly disliked by his people, and Tony Blair, in his new post prime minister position, is working on new treaties for Israel and her neighbors. Prior to that in Sept. 1948- Aug. 1951, the Volkswagen beetle was introduced to the USA, and the United Nations building was completed. Now, energy efficient autos are gaining a foothold; and, the working structure of the United Nations is about to be overhauled.

This shows that energy does work in cycles, so consider what is coming back into your life to be reworked from those previous cycles. Goddess Virgo suggests you release ego and open to your higher service. Saturn requires that you do it in a pragmatic manner in your daily world.

Coming back to the current month, Labor Day the 3rd has the Moon in multi-tasking Gemini and other minor disruptive planetary aspects. Allow your schedule to be flexible and avoid impatience through early afternoon. This is good advice for the rest of the week as there are several coming changes in the air.

Communications planet Mercury enters romantic Libra on the 5th and will hang around through early November. Be certain to provide sincere compliments to people who have helped you ~and a little flirting isn’t such a bad thing either.

Friday and Saturday the 7th & 8th include the completion of retrograde cycles for transforming Pluto and relationship-oriented Venus. Be willing to discuss your relationship needs and/or problems at the deepest levels now, but have a little fun while you are doing it.

A feeling of intensity is building up to the Solar Eclipse on Tuesday 9-1-1. It begins on Sunday the 9th when the vitally alive Sun is opposed by revolutionary Uranus. Creating new friendships is the positive use of this day; earth-quaking revolutions are another expression.

The solar eclipse blocks out the busyness of your life to help you focus your energies on that which is most important to your inner purpose. Pull away from the world to create a life that is simple, pure, and humble in preparation for life-changing planetary shifts coming in 2008.

Thursday the 13th is the most social and playful day of the month. The following weekend holds a private and deep-feeling Scorpio Moon. Whatever you do this weekend, commit to it fully.

The work week of the 16th is generally uneventful, which makes it a good week to tend to business. Friday the 21st is a different story. Aggressive Mars is in battle position with destructive Pluto. Avoid people who are looking for trouble. At the same time, sensual Venus is opposing illusion-bursting Neptune. Although this can be a highly passionate combination, make certain that you are not looking at life through rose colored glasses.

The Autumnal Equinox on Sunday the 23rd (2:52 AM PDT) carries a slightly less intense version of Friday’s planetary energy. This means that the next three months will help you take action to burst illusions so that you can step into a greater level of your power. Be aware that you must release attitudes, beliefs, people, and activities that do not serve this transformation.

The beautiful Harvest Full Moon will be out on Wednesday the 26th. There is a rush of ideas and activities. Enjoy the energetic buzz, but don’t get caught up in an attitude of "I want it and I want it now."

Chocolate is required for the Moon in Taurus weekend of the 28-29th. After desert, enjoy a delicious meal as Mars enters nurturing Cancer for an unusually long time (until May 2008). Both of these energies enjoy sensual pleasures. Nurture self and others, but avoid addictive behaviors.
