Message From My Dad

I felt as if someone sat on the bed as I lay awake. It was about 2 am. I knew it was my dad, as I have been waiting for him. He had died 5 days ago July 16th, 2012. At first his voice sounded very robotic and computerized and then he adjusted his energy and I could hear him clearly. He appeared at a younger age – in his 40's, when I was a little girl. He spoke Polish to me, the language we used to communicate.

As I lay awake that night, thinking of him and all of the questions that I never got to ask -
“What was his absolutely favorite book or song or music? What were his dreams as a young man? What were his hopes?” As I lay there crying I felt him sit behind me, I felt the mattress shift under his weight. He reached out and smoothed my hair. I was so overjoyed to have him with me. He began by answering my unspoken questions – favorite book? – “too many to count” – I began to laugh ” Yeah, that’s what I always say.” Music? – Polanaise by Oginski – Oh, yes, I remembered the music gently flowing in my mind as memories of my childhood flooded me. My dad playing the violin and me asking him to play again and again.

His dreams – well, he said with joy and happiness all around him – I have fully completed all that I came here to do. I was the father you needed me to be, so you can be who you are today. (After my mom left when I was six years old, my dad began to binge drink and disappear for days and then weeks) – so what he was speaking about was my soul’s contract of abandonment.

At this point I wasn’t sure if I should laugh or cry, but knowing what I know on this spiritual journey – I just smiled and said “well, thanks Dad, I’m glad it all went according to the Divine plan” and he responded again with so much joy that I was truly taken aback – how this life that we choose, actually is pre-planned, and chaotic as it seems, actually is of higher Divine order and purpose. This bit of news brought immeasurable amount of peace into my heart and soul and a knowing that all is truly well.

I then asked my dad “where are you now?” and he showed me the town in Poland (Dzierzbia) where we lived and I grew up in. He said to me that once he died he was given a choice to choose a place he liked most on earth. He said, “after you die you go to earth-like place.” “There are many people here and all kinds of animals – they are strangers and yet I know them so well. This is the place where I will do a life review and then choose where to go next.”

I asked him “what are your choices?” and he said “essentially the entire universe is mine to choose” and he indicated that other planetary systems are available as well. (Please know that my dad died firmly denying re-incarnation and he believed that you get one life only and I could not convince him otherwise. So you can imagine my delight as my dad sat in front of me describing all of his possible options for his future lives!)

I asked him if he was coming back to earth anytime soon and he indicated that he was tired of earth life(can you blame him?) and he wasn’t sure yet, but that he would let me know. He also said that some people come back to earth almost immediately if they have not accomplished their soul’s growth.

I was glad to know that my dad had many options and was pondering the many choices ahead of him. My long gone dog Rocky, my beloved doggie soul mate was running back and forth between us and stopping occasionally to lick my face.

I began to see that my dad’s energy was getting very weak and I actually saw two angels hold him up as he stood. I asked him about it and he said that it takes a lot of energy for our loved ones to come to us.

At this time I began to see many angels. They were everywhere! I watched my dad walking away being supported by two large angels. Prior to leaving he did give some very important guidance about my personal life which was the exact clarity that I needed. He answered the unasked questions of my heart and soul and repeated several times,

“Don’t forget to live your life. Life is for the living.”

It is a common message I hear from many deceased loved ones.

He also told me that if someone would be absolutely terrified to feel the energy of a loved one or that of a mattress shifting (as was the case with my dad), that our loved ones would not come because they do not want to frighten us!

As I lay awake with my eyes wide open I began to see sparks of Light above my head about an arm’s length away. It was like watching lightning bugs, like seeing fireworks silently exploding – it was the angels! I looked all around the room and they were everywhere. I reached up with my right arm and the angels swam all around me. I could see the lights and I felt such peace, such love and the message was,

“Please tell everyone, you are never, ever alone. We are always all around you within your arms reach!”
