Stargazing: Astrological Forecast for Sept. 1-7, 2014

Welcome to September - a good month to blend work and play. Vacations are over and its time to go back to school or buckle down at the office. The communications planet Mercury passing through Libra supports social activities. Venus moves into Virgo and is good for home or body beautification/purification projects.
In general this will be a low-key week with the accent on marriage, legal documents, balance sheets, business partnerships and mergers.
The Sept. 1st Labor Day holiday has the moon moving into Sagittarius, so it is a great day for an adventure in nature, or a party. This is an easily flowing week so a good time to get in a groove and enjoy life.
On Monday, Mercury moves into Libra through the 27th. This is a time to reach out to make social connections, be they new friends or catching up with people you have not seen over the summer.
The tone changes on Friday when love & money Venus enters Virgo until the 29th. When Venus is in Virgo, its time to be of service to others and to remember to check the fine details by fine-tuning your relationships and finances. Look over the small print of any contract you have signed, whether it deals with business or pleasure. This is also a good time to take care of details, accomplish tangible tasks, and do a gentle self-purification. (Remember that Mercury will be retrograde most of October, so getting organized now will reduce organization and communication problems later). An Aquarius moon for the weekend is good for social gatherings.
A Moon/Saturn combination calls for an early end to Saturday evening activities. The moon is emotions and Saturn slows down, hence an early evening.
Next week brings the action, especially with unexpected weather build ups and the Pisces full moon.
