As we wind down from the holiday season, my children and I havewatched and re-watched all of the seasonal movie favorites - The one that seems to be best loved by them is Mickey’s Christmas Carol. We have watched it 600 times since November 30th.

There is, of course, the prerequisite scene for every telling of ‘A Christmas Carol’ where Jacob Marley appears to Ebenezer and advises him that because of his life’s choices, he will be visited by THREE Ghosts in an effort to steer him on to a new timeline.

This year I felt the resonance of this tale.

We are all at a point in our lives that has been the culmination of our choices past and present. We are each exactly where we are meant to be, experiencing exactly what we are meant to experience. It is by our choice and our choice alone that we can review our lives to this point and peer down the timelines of future potential.

Think of this moment like Spiritual GPS - if you continue on your current path, will you be happy with the potential destination you are heading toward?  Do you need to make tweaks or a full on overhaul? I realized that the overhaul I needed was focus. This was my FIRST Ghost. In being honest with myself I was able to start the overhaul process and start making the changes that have helped me to begin prioritizing and reorganizing. I’m working on it every day, but it’s a process.

My SECOND Ghost has come in the form of my truth - I have joked with many in the past that I was planning to let my ‘crazy’ hang all the way out. And that is truly what I am doing. I have stepped fully into alignment with the truth, with my truth. This alignment has taken me off the leash so to speak, and I am freer than ever. I have found that as those who do not resonate with my truth are stepping away, room has been made for others to step in to my life.

My THIRD Ghost has come in the form of the future - when I look at my boys I think of my legacy. What special memories am I helping to create for them? So I make sure every day they know that they are loved, that they are special, and that no matter what, they have me. I make sure that every day we have a really great laugh, and that hugs and kisses abound. 

I encourage you to talk to your Higher Self - what Three Ghosts would they send to you? Have the courage to recreate your NOW.
