Your January 2015 Tarotscope

There are 5 Major Arcana cards, and 3 wands cards which suggest overall that there is a lot of spiritual and action oriented signs for most this month. This of course makes sense as we are at the start of the year 2015. When you reduce down 2015 into a Major Arcana card we get our theme card globally for the year, Strength. Strength suggests that some major social justice agendas will continue to go on strong with the emphasis on fairness, balance, and unity. It is a card that suggests that 2015 will continue to Struggle but a struggle that is worth it, major cultural shifts abound.

Capricorn--The High Priestess

I know you are perhaps feeling a little itchy to get started on those lovely to do lists of  yours and really rock the party (and your business) but the emphasis here is to push back a little bit on that natal desire and go deeper: to be quieter, stiller, quietly listening to the drum beat of the planet. You need some Pacha Mama time this month! Delve into that intuition of yours and let go of fear.Your intuition is incredibly sharp now, heed its message.

Aquarius--The Empress

January indicates that you need nurture yourself and others. How is your self care? Are you eating to nourish, moving to joy, and sleeping to rest? Sometimes the world feels so frantic and despite all the pretty ideas and bells and whistles the best thing we can do is ask, “Is this nourishing my body, my mind, my heart, my soul?” If the answer is no, dump it. Deepen your relationship to the Divine Feminine.

Pisces--Two of Pentacles

For many signs, 2 of Pentacles is often an uncomfortable place to be but for you, Pisces, this is your native Being. This month asks that you delve into your own emotional complexity, other’s do not have to understand and you do not have to explain it to them. Ride the waves and create, create, create.

Aries--The Magician

Give an Aries the Magician, and she can create the world. The fire of Aries along with the focus of the Magician is a huge green light, telling you to let fly. What do you want to accomplish? What have you been dreaming about? Walk the continent? Sail? Feel your big beating heart at the summit of a grand mountain? This month is the month to take these long dormant plans in your heart and set them a fire.Make them real, Aries.

Taurus--Ace of Wands

This card often indicates a new vista begun for you: a new job, a promotion, the start of a new class or way of being January is truly the month of an active new beginning.This card, very simply says YES to you over and over again. Yes, Taurus, YES!

Gemini--8 of Wands

This month is not the time to tame that wild energy of yours, twin, but to surf it; surf the multiple gleaming shafts of light shining directly into your fast mind, surf each wave and hop onto the other before it crashes ashore. Do not alight onto any one process this month, this is the month to truly own and embrace that wonderful ability to think in several dimensions at once. Own that and I bet some brilliance will come to you this month. Be nimble, twin.

Cancer--The Emperor

What process do you need to take ownership of or what stake do you need to claim? Cancers are not well known for aggressively claiming what is theirs but this month the call is for you to plant that flag of yours deep into what you should be ruling. Own it.

Leo--7 of Pentacles

January giftsyou the fertile soil of many seeds and ideas so plant them all and see what springs forward. January is less about action and more about planting for future endeavours. Allow these things to flourish under soil for the winter, fast movement is not yours this month but planning is.

Virgo--8 of Cups

This month you do it, Virgo. You have been planning on leaving something for quite a while and there is something happening in your life that you have been contemplating for too long. You know you should walk away. You don’t need to know all steps in what will come next, all you need are the first two steps which you have. Push off, babe.

Libra--8 of Pentacles

January is not the month to fight for what is currently unfair in your life, to me this card is a willfill non-negotiation. You cannot win a battle, and you have been beating yourself up against a wall so take a break for a bit, there is a solution here that you are not seeing because you have been too involved in the struggle. It is like when you play tug of war and finally you let go, causing the other to tumble to earth, you win by letting go.

Scorpio--4 of Wands

You have  this month to complete something in order for you to get the accolades that you deserve. Push to make it happen as  it feels like there is a deadline for you and a happy one. Put your nose to the grindstone, darling, and don’t look up until you are done. When you complete your mission you will find those who are your tribe waiting for you. I dont want to say just do it… but well, you know.

Sagittarius--4 of Swords

You seem to be the only sign this month where the energy is to rest. Everyone else is banging, raring to go but for you the advice is to take it easy, its a war not a battle after all though you will feel strange about not moving like everyone else, don’t worry about it, you have always walked to your own drumbeat, remember to do so now, and rest.
