Determining Breast Health With European Thermography
by Dr. Karen Clickner, ND
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and ourbreasts are an amazing aspect of the human body. They are at once a source of life, a definition of self, a social taboo and a source of fear. Women live with the fear that their breast tissue may harbor hidden disease and have no real way of knowing that their breast tissue is healthy. We are often completely oblivious to how healthy our breast tissue actually is until the day that a problem appears on a mammogram … until the day that a biopsy says we have cancer.
Given all that the breast tissue is, one thing it is not, is understood. And for quite a while, research has shown us that mammograms are often inconclusive and even inaccurate. As a breast cancer screening tool they did not reduce the number of women dying from the disease. In fact, for every one woman who had her life prolonged, 10 women underwent unnecessary treatment.
Should women rely on mammograms? What other options do women have? European Thermography is one answer. Using a highly sensitive digital probe to evaluate 100 points on the body, it has been used in Europe for many years to evaluate all body systems. It gives you a complete picture of how healthy the breast tissue is as well as its relationship to every other body system such as circulation, lymphatic, hormonal and neurological. Blocked and congested areas of the breasts can eventually allow cysts and irregular tissue to form. These blockages can be reduced and even eliminated directly with Decongestive Lymphatic Drainage and lymphatic remedies long before tumors form.
But European Thermography shows much more than that. It helps illuminate the body systems that are imbalanced and distressed. These are the forces at work behind breast health. Undiagnosed low thyroid, poor blood circulation, unrestricted body inflammation, severe stress, poor digestion … these are all weaknesses that can affect your breast health.
1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer. Don’t be the one.
