Happy Holiday season to everyone. December is that time of year when the feeling of giving and receiving find balance. Giving is ruled by the 5th house (Leo) while receiving is ruled by the 11th house (Aquarius).

 

The signs most effected in December 2016 are: Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Eight out of the twelve signs. But, all 12 signs will be in a positive progressive period from January 8, 2017 toFebruary 6, 2017 because all planets are in direct motion. Energy moves forward when planets are direct and internal when in retrograde. 

Mercury moves into Capricorn on December 2nd. For those born under the sign of Capricorn, you are very busy thinking and planning about your life. Capricorn is a sign that believes in hard work. The goat climbing steadily up the mountainuntil it reaches its goal at the top. 

Venus enters Aquarius on December 7th giving some extra luck and charm to those born under the sign of Aquarius till January 3, 2017 when Venus moves into Pisces. Aquarius loves new and original ways of approaching life so this isa good time to let your creativity flow and express your own unique version of artistic and romantic expressions. 

Capricorn's have been enjoying themselves over the last few weeks but they are starting to feel the party is over and need to get back on track. And what more to help Capricorn's get back on track than a Mercury retrograde that starts December 19th at 15 degrees of Capricorn early in the morning (5:55AM EST). 

Mercury retrograde brings us deeper into our thoughts and a wonderful time toplan about what next steps to make. Not a great time to communicate clearly and often times what we say is taken out of context. This Mercury retrograde ends on January 8th, 2017 in the late degree of Sagittarius. 28 degrees. 

Sagittarius has been working hard over the last year and a half and they feeloverwhelmed with responsibilities. They want to wrap things up by January 8, 2017 and finalize anything in their life they worked on over the last 18 months and ring in the new year with more balance. 

The full Moon in Gemini at 22 degrees on December 13th at 7:06PM EST isopposing the Sun in Sagittarius at 22 degrees conjunct Saturn in Sagittarius

at 19 degrees. Mercury is still in direct motion in this full Moon chart. This full Moon chart is filled with several aspects including a grand square in the cardinal signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. 

The signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn want things to move and a grand square produces the energy to do just that. Too much tension but it manifest's the need for change. These signs get things initiated in life. They start things in motion. If any of the signs mentioned have been feeling stuck in their lives this combination on the full Moon in Gemini will allow growth. 

There is a grand trine going on between this full Moon in Gemini, Jupiter in Libra and Mars in Aquarius. A calm breeze from this trine offers cooperation amist the turbulent grand square in cardinal signs of dynamic leadership and change. 

Libra is sociable and wants peace at all cost, Aquarius is the rebel and Gemini wants to communicate too find a rational answer in its relationship to the larger picture (Sagittarius) of life. It's a win, win situation for the signs of Aries, Gemini, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aquarius. These signs will grow a lot before 2016 ends and have a strong fresh start at the beginning of 2017. 

This full Moon in Gemini is the rational mind while its opposing sign Sagittarius isintuitive wisdom. I could not help but notice that this full Moon is exactly conjunct Donald Trump's natal Sun in Gemini. Full Moon's represent completions. Most likely his new cabinet members will be selected by this full Moon. 

Mars enters Pisces on December 19th. Mercury also turns retrograde on the same day. Pisces is the least vital of all the Zodiac signs. Mars helps Pisces to be more motivated and less of a procrastinator. Pisces can get lost in dreams that never seem to come true. Mars helps the creative energies to move forward in a more practical way so the deep compassion that most Pisces has can bless others through concrete actions. Mars will stay in Pisces from December 19, 2016 to January 28, 2017. 

The Sun moves into Capricorn on December 21st at 5:44AM EST and the Winter Solstice starts. This is the darkest day of the year but more light is added to each day afterwards. Happy Birthday to those born under the sign of Capricorn. 

Mercury started its retrograde in Capricorn at 15 degrees on December 19th, the Sun moves into Capricorn on December 21st and we have a new Moon in Capricorn on December 29th at 1:53AM EST. It's at 7 degrees. This spells lots of Capricorn energy. 

Of all the 12 signs, Capricorn is one of the hardest workers not only in action but in deep thought regarding where they are and where they are going. By the time the new year starts, they are deep in Mercury retrograde so don't be surprised, if you have Sun/Moon or rising in Capricorn, that you start the new year off feeling like you are not ready for a new year just yet. 

Maybe you are in the process of making choices of what you want in your life and what you need to let go of in order to have less stress and strain in 2017. This is not stagnant energy here. This is because Uranus will turn stationary direct in Aries at 4:29AM EST only a few hours after the new Moon starts and it stations direct at 20 degrees, squaring Pluto at 16 degrees and opposing Jupiter in Libra at 20 degrees. This ends 2016 with a bang and I pray its not any kind of explosions, earthquakes, fires, tsunami's or violence of any kind. 

Jupiter in Libra is about relationships. Where is the balance in your relationships. If you have Sun/Moon or rising in Libra, Aries or Capricorn, these signs are wanting change and I don't mean just a little of it. They want a complete overhaul in their vocation, family and personal life.

The square between Uranus and Pluto has been going on since 2008 with 7 exact squares in between that ended in the spring of 2015. Now they are within 4 degrees as Uranus stations direct and will relax more and more until this square ends in 2020. It has created lots of environmental problems, governments around the globe transforming the way they do things, terrorism, violent weather patterns, racial tensions between law enforcement and the public and all kinds of transformation energy to help drain the swamp. 

On a positive note, after Uranus turns direct, ALL of the planets except for Mercury will be in direct motion as we begin 2017. This is good news as the momentum in the world moves forward and by January 8th, when Mercury turns direct, all planets are in forward motion and manifestation of wishes and dreamsis good for all 12 signs. 

Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini and Virgo's were more challenged in 2016. But, as we move into 2017, Pisces has momentum with South Node, Mars, Neptune and Chiron all in Pisces opposing the North Node in Virgo.

 Whatever issues these two signs have been working on to heal (Chiron), can find peace and stability in 2017. We no longer have the square from Neptune and Saturn in 2017 that really shook up the world of Pisces as everything seemed to fall apart or just felt stuck for them in 2016. 

Sagittarius was also a part of this intense chaotic and uncertain energy in 2016. Gemini and Virgo were being relied on way to much from others to help keep it all together. Gemini is not the chosen sign by its very nature to create calm and quiettime for themselves let alone other signs but 2016 they took on karma that helped Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo to storm the weather of the Saturn square Neptune tension. 

With all of the planets in direct motion till February 6, 2017, that's when Jupiter stations retrograde in Libra, take advantage of a clear expansive (Jupiter) opportunity to grow and feel like life is finally getting back on track. Claim your own individual power regardless of the sign you are born in and lets all move forward together (Aquarius), in balance (Libra), in a very compassionate and spiritual way (Pisces), in the way we communicate (Gemini), to transform our financial lives (Taurus), with courage (Aries), and with love for our families and country (Cancer), so we can dance and sing (Leo), to a new rhythm of life that deeply touches us (Scorpio), from nation to nation (Sagittarius), with wisdom and hard work (Capricorn), for a wonderful 2017.
