April brings loads of transformational energies in the signs of Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, Taurus, Pisces and Sagittarius.

Retrograde planets is a theme this month. We currently have Venus in retrograde motion since its starting date of March 4th at 13 degrees of Aries. Venus will turn direct on April 15th at 26 degrees of Pisces. A day before Easter Sunday.

Venus in retrograde motion is testing our self love for all signs but the signs most  affected are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The cardinal signs that deal with initiating changes of a personal nature as well as our place of belonging, partnerships, and vocation.

Venus is asking us, what brings most joy in your life from the inside out not the outside in? If you are born under any of the cardinal signs mentioned above, you may find trying to achieve joy outside in the objective world of everyday living, vocation and relationships is not making you feel joyful anymore. You want to look more within for self love and acceptance till April 15th. After April 15th, the cardinal signs can make final choices in all areas of their lives.

Venus enters Pisces on April 2nd ending its stay in retrograde motion in Aries till it turns direct in Pisces at 26 degrees on April 15th and eventually re-enters Aries on April 28th. Pisces is doing some deep thinking as well about what has happened since the spring of 2015. Pisces has come to some choices and will not accept less in life anymore.

They want to be happy in all areas of their lives. After April 15th, Pisces wants to experience a new ascension (Easter is on the 16th and Jesus was born in March.. a Pisces), into the higher states of spiritual bliss that the last 2 years have not offered them. This is good news for those born under the sign of Pisces. Because Venus is in deep retrograde from April 9th (Palm Sunday) till April 15, this is a great time for spiritual/religious reflections.

Saturn turns retrograde on April 6th. It will be at 27 degrees of Sagittarius and will turn direct on August 25th at 21 degrees. This is another opportunity for Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo and Pisces to handle more responsibilities and put therework in order. They may feel pressured with additional work for new projects but the pay off is wonderful by the end of August moving into the Fall season.

And to further the depth of this holiday season for those who are followers of Jesus, Mercury turns retrograde on Palm Sunday, two days before a full Moon. Mercury will turn retrograde at 5 degrees of Taurus and turns direct on May 3rd at 24 degrees of Aries. Both of these signs are in deep thoughts regarding financial life and planning new things during the retrograde period that can help them take further actions too better there lives when Mercury turns direct May 3rd.

The energy leading up to the full Moon in Libra at 21 degrees on April 11th (2:08AM EDT), is the turning point for cardinal signs. We have a building up of inner energies due to all the retrograde planets which leads to an explosive energy as the Sun conjuncts Uranus in Aries, opposing Moon conjunct Jupiter in Libra, with both luminaries square to Pluto in Capricorn. The return of an intense t-square on a full Moon.

The cardinal signs are at war in relationships during this time and may want to turn to a higher power to try to make sense of what is going on in their lives. Thank god Venus will turn direct on the 15th, four days after this full Moon, to give some balance to this very intense time in their lives.

Aries likes to think of themselves and Libra wants balance and thinks of others. 

Capricorn wants to keep well defined traditional values alive. This combination is a time to reflect on the meaning of individual freedoms verses diplomacy in order to create balance.

 A high stress point in the current Trump administration not only at home but internationally. The Supreme court of justice may be appointed around this time to fill the vacancy. The part of fortune at 13 degrees of Cancer gives a sense of comfort thou and the final outcome of this tension is balanced by those born under the sign of Cancer.

This also may be a time when military action is taken in some way against terrorism as Aries is the fighter/warrior. Libra wants balance and peace. Capricorn wants too have a stable government to implement law and order. Actions may be well thought out with Mercury in retrograde motion in the slow and moving sign of Taurus.

The Sun moves into the sign of Taurus on April 19th and Mercury retrogrades into Aries on the 20th. Happy Birthday to those born under the sign of Taurus.

Mars moves into Gemini giving those born under this mutable sign more energy to multi task and communicate what they are feeling. Communication breakdown can happen if Gemini pushes too hard co-workers and friends. Remember, Mercury rules both Gemini and Virgo and is in retrograde motion. The new Moon on April 26th at 8:16AM EDT 6 degrees. New Moon's represent new beginnings. New Moon's are created by a conjunction between both luminaries. Interestingly enough, this new Moon combination is not aspecting other planets.

Those born under the sign of Taurus may feel out of place emotionally till the Moon becomes full on May 10th in Scorpio its opposite sign. While Taurus rules the second house of money (gains), Scorpio rules the 8th house of (losses). We can get into debt with the credit cards and loans (8th house) so we hope we gain enough money from our second house to pay off the debt.

If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Taurus, you may be taking a very close look at your financial picture. I would take the time to look over your assets and if you have a will or you may be expecting an inheritance, make sure everything is in order as the unaspected signature of this new Moon tends to blind side you. As long as you make sure you are on track you can avoid surprises around May 10th you may have thought were taken care of by others.

If there is anything that Taurus is holding onto that is causing more tension between yourself and others it is better to let it go. Give it up to a higher power and the tensions and resentments involved will just melt away. Your affirmation is “ I LET GO OF EVERYTHING AND EMBRACE ALL THE WONDERFUL NEW THE UNIVERSE HAS FOR ME”.

Unaspected luminaries can make those born under the sign of Taurus or Scorpio feel alone and without support. Where is my place of belonging? Go into deep silence and meditations during this time. If you try to fix things from the outside in you will run into lots of trouble. Wait till May 10th to move forward with your financial life and other personal matters.

As you can see from this forecast, there is much tension to be released for most of the month. It is a progressive month but the progress is more inner than outer.

More subjective. If you look at life from the inside out, you will find this month rewarding.

The new Moon has much less tensions in it so we will end April with less stress and after May 3rd, when Mercury turns direct, we will have both Venus and Mercury in direct motion which will move life forward with less tensions overall.

May and June should be wonderful months for the economy. April will see lots of planning and adjusting until the first week of May.
