Imagine, if you will, walking into a great temple, a  Temple of Golden Wisdom. You are greeted with waves of love as each soul in this sacred space has very consciously chosen to make their journey here. The very air is charged with an electricity that feels exciting, yet calming at the same time. There is a feeling of peace and acceptance that welcomes all souls. The forms of these souls vary in color and shape which you find fascinating and heartwarming. The very fact that so many others could share this love and walk among other shining souls lifts you into an even higher state of consciousness. 

Each soul here has something to offer another and something to learn as well. The understanding makes for an atmosphere of comradery, of cooperation, of co-working for the highest benefit for all. Each has overcome varied obstacles and challenges to get here. 

 

This is what I have experienced at an ECKANKAR seminar. ECKANKAR, the Path of Spiritual Freedom, is the path that an individual walks to the ECK. ECK is simply a word for Holy Spirit. The way, the journey each of us walk to our own realization of the Divine is unique and sacred and the ECK teachings recognize and respects all spiritual paths, so all are welcome. 

 

The doors at the seminar open and you will see smiling faces and old friends greeting and people recognizing old friends from previous lifetimes. You will hear the laughter of children and many adults who laugh like children- with freedom and a lightness of being. You may walk into the art room and experience the flow of divine creativity on display through oils, watercolor, sculpture, photography and more. Some children's art and some very sophisticated. All from the heart.

 

Books, DVDs, and CDs are available from Harold Klemp, the spiritual leader and followers of ECK. Books filled with stories of how others were lifted in a state of consciousness from the lows of human trials to the highest of highs. Many books serve as guiding lights for a dimly lit world. 

 

There are talks, panel discussions, group discussions open to all.  Speakers from all over the world have come to share their story and heartfelt experiences so as to make it a little easier for the next person to face Life’s challenges. 

There will be uplifting music or poetry that express the many spiritual adventures that all souls go through on their way through life. 

 

Then there is the afterglow of lightness that I feel that sometimes last a week or so following a seminar. The love and truth found lasts forever. 

 

Typically the seminars are 2-3 days and usually free to the public.
