Have You Had Your New Years Tune-Up Yet?

Are you feeling less than wonder-full as the holiday season draws to a close? You just received an invitation from your soul to make time for a tune-up now, so you will be ready to embrace all of the opportunities in the new year.

Remember a time when holidays represented unparalleled joy and anticipation?  By tapping into those precious memories, you can connect to your inner spirit who knows the Truth - that only when we are experiencing joy can we share ourselves fully with our loved ones and others.So the most important New Year’s resolution you can make is to be fully present in each moment–feeling settled, calm, open and ready to give and receive love and participate fully in life. 

Meditating daily is one of the most effective ways to de-stress quickly and enter the zone of calm readiness. For over forty years I have practiced a form of meditation called Transcendental Meditation every day, and I recommend meditation to all of my clients. Meditating regularly has been shown to have cumulative,long-term benefits for both your physical and mental well being.

It has been my experience that, after allowing myself some quiet time when I wake up, I start my day with greater clarity, intention and energy. Make some form of meditation a part of your daily tune-up and I promise you will see and feel the difference (and so will your loved ones!)

For the same forty plus years I have meditated, I have also practiced and taught Reflexology. Having a Reflexology session is great way to experience profound mental and physical relaxation. Many of my clients who have been coming to me for years feel their reflexology sessions are a key part of their periodic tune-up regimen. And, with regular sessions, they tell me about the physical,mental, emotional and spiritual miracles that keep showing up in their lives.

Treat yourself and a loved one to a reflexology session, or to a series of sessions.Experience the healing scents of natural, botanical essences and soft, soothing music. Lie back, relax and enjoy reflexology on your feet, hands, ears and/or face. By gently, but firmly, working the pressure points on your hands, face,ears and feet, we calm your nervous system and reach all of the organs, glands and parts of your body. Releasing physical, mental and emotional stress allows your body's innate wisdom to promote healing and experience a deep sense of well being.

You can also take some Reflexology workshops and classes to discover how to help yourself, family and friends and, if you choose, to pursue a career in holistic health.

Your mind and body’s natural tendencies are to return to a state of optimal health. This year take some simple steps to support this process, like meditation and reflexology, and be ready to fully embrace everything the New Year has to offer.
