Teachings of the Brotherhood of Light Workers

The following segment has been received, word for word through a psychic process known as channeling. It is an invited procedure. The teachings always serve to guide us through the journey of life.

THE TIME OF IMPATIENCE

If we were to offer a suggestion to the lot of humankind, it would not be in the form of platitudes, for now is not the time of patience or of sweet and mellow energy. Now is the time of impatience, a desire for action, change and forward motion. The sense of blockage, aggravation, disgust, and abrasion is pervasive. The guidance sought is deeply personal, for each individual wants to shed him or herself of the grief and frustration in the individual life and also to see some hope, change, brightening, and possibilities on the world stage.

So what is being sought are answers - the answers that would address the particular situation which feels as though one is glued down, blocked, thwarted, or enchained. And what answer would liberate, would open the sluice gates, so to speak, to allow a flow to resume in a positive direction. Now, that may mean dealing on the home front with others and with practical matters, but it would also mean answers to dealing with national matters, such as lagging economic change. And it may mean answers to dealing with global problems, such as failing governments, resistant transformation, and technological innovation.

Each individual is feeling these factors in his or her bones, although perhaps not able or even interested in addressing large-scale problems. Yet they serve as irritants. They act as undercurrents that are either preventing flow or causing turbulence. Each individual is focused more directly upon his or her needs of the moment, needs that would increase comfort, enhance emotional security, restore purchasing power, find the way to live with brethren more harmoniously, and in general figure out how to make life easier, less despairing, and smoother. So, the all-encompassing theme is how to brighten up and free the self from a world in distress and a local or immediate venue or scene that is less than perfect. Plus, behind all this is the general tone of hurry up, why is it taking so long, when's it going to start, how long do I have to put up with this?

We can therefore say that humanity is in a pressure-cooker. The whistle is blowing, the steam is venting, and the lid feels like it's going to blow. In some cases, individually and nationally, it will. But in many cases, the awareness factor also now enhanced is helping individuals to process the intensity by seeking inner calm, for at least neutrality is the antidote to pressure, chaos and intensity. It is clear - and more clear every day - that emotionality is not the answer. It exacerbates. High emotion can bring change but often out of control, leading to worse than before. The right way in personal relationships and on the global stage is calmness, perception, understanding, self-awareness, and choice. Right choice. This is the direction that the pressure is meant to serve. Squeeze the human almost to a breaking point and see if you get a gooey mess or an evolved creature. We do not have to state which is the more desirable result.

And so, do your individual work, and come together and do this in a group format... and maybe, if humanity will not implode but will explode in a flurry of twinkling lights, finding itself in its starry expression a more cosmic and enlightened being.
