Astrological Forecast for April 2019

April is here. The birds will sing more and be busy building new nests and the grass will turn much greener. We are on our way to a wonderful new journey.

The new Moon at 15 degrees of Aries on April 5^th (4:50AM EDT), will start us all off with physical vitality. Aires is the sign that likes to move. If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Aries then you are ready to take on the world this month.

15 degrees marks a half way point so Aries is ready to finalize choices they have been thinking of over the last month or so and move forward with their plans. Mercury is now in direct motion and we have Jupiter and Neptune in their dignity (Own signs) as well as the Sun in Aires which is exalted.

Start that new project to be completed by the full Moon in April 19^th. Aries is also affiliated with war as they love to do battle being Mars ruled. But the skies are not stressed enough for a war to happen as there are no T-squares. Maybe on a personal level, with Mars square to the ascendant, Aries, Gemini and Aquarius could have a rocky time in relationships. They will either continue or break up.

Uranus is unaspected in this new Moon chart in Taurus, its sign of fall. Sudden and unexpected changes in the financial market for the good or not so good could happen. I think with so many planets in their dignity or exalted, this will not be a financial problem. I do think unexpected weather patterns all around the world and even in the ocean waters could be an issue. Earthquakes, volcanoes, tornadoes, Typhoons, fires, mudslides or floods are a part of this signature till the full Moon on the 19^th.

Mercury moves into Aries on the 17^th giving Aries another reason to move forward with a clear vision on any part of their lives that has been put on hold. The mind is very busy with lots of thoughts so find some time daily to just sit and observe nature. Listen to the wind, birds, ocean waters and feel the Earth on your feet. This will help ground some of the intense energies this month for those who have planets in Aries.

We have a full Moon in Libra at the late degree of 29. (7:12AM EDT). This is on the 19^th, the same day as good Friday. Those with Sun, Moon, rising or other planets in Libra are contemplating beauty, balance in relationships, creative decorating, making final choices, not so easy for Libra, and having an active social life.

Libra and Aries are opposite signs. Aries thinks more of their own needs and Libra thinks of others. These two energies are trying to find balance with the opposition illuminating this full Moon. What are we willing to give up in order to find the perfect balance in relationships? Are we fully happy with our relationships?

There are enough tensions in the full Moon chart, 3 T-squares, to ignite arguments in relationships and cause some troubles for the sign of Capricorn, Aquarius, Aries and Libra. These signs need to be extra careful with stress in their lives. Whatever is causing them to become stressful from their boss, marriage partner, financial difficulties could really come to fruition and throw the balance off.

Those with Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Cancer fill in these T-squares and offer the signs just mentioned some stability. Those with Cancer energies may feel neglected at home if their partners, children or family members have Capricorn, Aquarius or Aries energies. Cancer offers the balance which means they take on the stress of others. Not always fun.

Letting go of what is not working in your life is vital with these signatures. The good news is Venus is exalted in Pisces still which is good for romantic and spiritual areas of our lives.

But Venus will move into Aries on the 20^th just after the full Moon. The Sun will move into Taurus on the 20^th also at 4:56AM EDT. Happy Birthday to those born under the sign of Taurus.

With Uranus now in Taurus over the next 7 years, those who have Sun, Moon, rising or other planets in Taurus will not be able to keep their lives steady and grounded. Taurus does not feel comfortable with Uranus around. Taurus wants things to stay the same especially when it comes to financial areas of their lives. Uranus wants things to change and enjoys the creative chance to rebel against the norm. This combination could also cause those with Taurus energies to make a residential move or come to terms with financial issues they ignored.

Earth Day is on the 22^nd. Happy Earth Day for our planet.

Pluto turns retrograde in Capricorn at 23 degrees on the 24^th offering deep reflections in the subconscious for those with Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Capricorn. This retrograding period for Capricorn ends when it stations direct at 20 degrees on October 3^rd, 2019. Pluto loves to transform things slowly but surely. It offers deep pain and sorrow to be healed for those with Capricorn energies. It also can make them work alcoholics and renounce social life during this period.

Saturn stations retrograde at 20 degrees of Capricorn on the 29^th at 8:54PM EDT. Again, we see the sign of Capricorn being tested from within. Saturn and Pluto are doing a dance together till the middle of February of 2020 in the sign of Capricorn. Saturn will station direct on September 18, 2019 at 13 degrees. Look to these degrees in your chart.

Saturn is helping those with Capricorn energies to become more responsible with their inner workings. They may feel very stuck and need to make major changes from within through spiritual disciplines and let go of anything that is not working in their lives by the time Saturn stations direct. The good news is Saturn feels most comfortable in Capricorn as it is the natural ruler of Capricorn.

This may help ease some of the heavier energies coming from the Pluto retrograde. I think Capricorn will need to watch out for health issues related to the bones and knees if they overwork themselves. They normally overwork anyhow but multiple the normal serious work ethic they have by 3 during the next 5 months at the start of this retrograde period.
