Chapter 7: Directing Traffic: Handling Information That Comes In
by Maureen J. St. Germain
Go with What You Get
Sometimes you are taking difficult questions to the Record Keepers. What will they tell you? When you need a breakthrough on some issue or concern, it is always good to pay attention to the signs and signals that show up along the way. Sometimes you will be attracted to a book. Sometimes you will go somewhere and meet someone who has some service or conversation that you need. When you open the Records, you will be stunned to discover the Record Keepers referring to this new information; they direct you to the book you just purchased or the place you needed to be!
There will also be times that you will question what the Record Keepers are telling you. If you doubt their information, you can do a quick check-in with your Higher Self. This helps you trust your skills in the Akashic field. Sometimes you might think you are making it up. In fact that is pretty normal.
Your Record Keepers and Guides can be counted on to help you comprehend more than you can see or understand on your own, thus helping you shift through life’s hurdles, harnessing your gifts and magnifying your goodness.
Exercise 7:1. More Questions in the Akashic Records
• Is my ego/mind or emotions blocking me from understanding?
• What might be blocking me that needs clearing?
• Are there concealed aspects of me that keep me from knowing or understanding the situation?
Unexpected Information
You may also be surprised that the Record Keepers have solutions for you that you had no idea were possible because they have never occurred to you. When I received an alarming and intuitive, yet subtle, message about my husband’s life being in danger at a job site, I asked him if he had checked in with his Higher Self about returning to the location where the fire had occurred (he is a fire scientist). He said, “Well, if YOU told me not to go back, I wouldn’t return.” I filled in the gruesome details and he asked me to open his Akashic Records. I figured he would want to know things such as whether or not it was “his time to go” or if certain factors could be mitigated.
He completely took me by surprise by instead asking, “What caused the fire?” He’d been on this investigation for over three months, and I knew no details. Through me, the Record Keepers said, “It was to cover up a couple of murders.” I was so shocked with this response, that I pulled myself out of the energy of the Akashics, looked at him and said, “Well, that’s strange, no one died in this fire.” Frankly I was really embarrassed, thinking that I had somehow given him false information! He looked at me gravely and said, “Actually three people died.” It was then I learned that he could find no “accidental source” for the fire to have occurred, and his pointed question was answered directly in the Records.
Sometimes you will ask the Record Keepers and Guides something and then not get anything. This usually means there is a block that keeps information from coming through. When this happens, be sure to use the prayer to clear blocks.
Clearing Work
Also be sure to do your clearing work on yourself. Learn how to clear others, especially how to clear remotely. This is very useful when you are working with clients and they need clearing. Many have written about this. I wrote a small concise guide, Reweaving the Fabric of Your Reality. Even though you might not think you have any entities or dark energies that might prevent you from connecting with the Akashic Guides or healing yourself--when you do the clearing work, you discover that you suddenly feel better and have the channel open to the Records again.
There are also other reasons why you might not get good information for a client, or get clarity that you are seeking. You may have lost soul parts that need to be reclaimed and returned to you. People often break off parts of themselves during a traumatic event in order to feel “normal.” They can be fragmented from situations and occurrences of past life dramas. Soul Retrieval work can help you bring back your damaged and lost parts, gently and easily by you. Use the Unify, A Soul Retrieval Meditation along with the AroMandalas Unity were created for a person to perform soul retrieval for themselves by themselves. It is available as an MP3 package with detailed instructions on my website.
Exercise 7:2. What Is the Difference between Wonder and Why?
When you ask your Higher Self, “I wonder what’s going on” or “I wonder why that happened,” you have opened the window to receiving full information. When you just ask why it is, this is so your ego can compartmentalize the answer. “Why” questions are to satisfy the ego/mind. “Wonder” is open-ended, which invites the Record Keepers to provide insight and understanding.
•What is the meaning of wonder?
•What is the meaning of why?
•How do I stay in my joy?
•What is the most important thing I may learn from a stranger that I met recently?
•Pick a fun experience or occurrence that happened this week and ask, “What may I know about this event?”
•Pick an intense/difficult experience or occurrence that happened this week and ask, “What may I know about this event?”
