Astrological Forecast for May 2019

May is here. It’s a month where we can expect to hear the birds sing louder while they build their nests and the temperatures are more seasonal. One of my favorite months of the year as Memorial Day on the 27^th opens the beaches.

If you’re a water sign that is music to our hearts and souls. I am a Pisces with Cancer rising and Jupiter and Neptune on either side of my North Node all in Scorpio. Between the Ocean salt water and the dynamic energy of the Sun, my lazy water sign energies comes to life.

May starts off with a new Moon in Taurus at 14 degrees (6:45PM EDT) on May 4th. If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Taurus, you can expect the unexpected when it comes to money earned, material possessions and the way you value yourself.

It’s a time to favor relationships and honor the female’s as we look forward to Mother’s Day on the 12^th as the new Moon is waxing and getting brighter. The Moon represents the female energies and is normally ruled by Cancer. Happy Mother’s Day.

Since the North Node is at 21 degrees of Cancer, those who have Sun, Moon or rising in the sign of Cancer are ready to move forward in all areas of their lives and manifest what they have been working on for some time. Cancer is not known for being the most dynamic sign but the grand square involving the North Node with the other cardinal signs, Aries, Libra and Capricorn, takes on a new energy for the crab.

The crab moves side to side and there is lots of movement in store till the full Moon on the 18^th for the crab. It will surprise those around them who depend on their dependability. They want to do something for themselves for a change.

Back to the new Moon in Taurus, Uranus is a part of a T-square of tensions also in the sign of Taurus. The main question for those who have planets or angles ruled by Taurus is, can you relax and adapt to new energies in your life?

The affirmation can be “I LET GO OF THE OLD AND EMBRACE ALL THE WONDERFUL NEW THE UNIVERSE HAS FOR ME”. Taurus weak spot is holding onto old and outworn things you own and even relationships that are not working anymore both in your professional and personal life. Start a new life with this new Moon. A perfect time of the year to be thinking of a new life to make it more exciting and alive.

Mercury moves into Taurus on May 6^th allowing the thought process to slow down. We now have the Sun, Uranus and Mercury all in Taurus. A great time to attract abundance through intelligent choices of investments and vocational direction for all signs as Venus will move into the sign of Taurus on the 15^th.

Now we have 4 planets in Taurus and money is flowing at and through those with Sun, Moon or rising in Taurus. Love is in the air also so if you are single or already involved, this is a great time for the signs of Taurus and Scorpio to manifest love and abundance till June 8th.

Mars moves into the sign of Cancer on the 15^th as well. Both romantic planets are in Taurus and Cancer as of the 15^th bringing romantic and financial benefits to those who have either of these signs ruling angles of the natal chart or ruling the 2^nd or 8^th houses.

It is the sign of Capricorn that is evaluating their stance and positions in life. Why? Because both the new Moon and full Moon charts have Saturn, South Node and Pluto in retrograde motion in Capricorn. Retrograde planets can turn the energies more inward not to just stagnate but to reaffirm certain goals and strategies that have not worked in the past. Making needed adjustments when the planets turn direct in August and September, so life is more refined and clearer in its directions.

Sagittarius could be included in this as Jupiter is also retrograde in Sagittarius. How does the sign of Sagittarius value life from the inside out rather than always running after another dream or taking another study up at school? How can the happy Sagittarius learn to be happy inside of themselves even when no one is around? These are some of the questions Sagittarius will be exploring till the middle of August.

The full Moon is in Scorpio at 27 degrees (5:11PM EDT) on April 18^th. Two Yod’s (Finger of God) are involved with this full Moon chart. Scorpio’s waters run very deep. All things hidden from view and underground are ruled by the mysterious sign of Scorpio.

If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Scorpio you have reached a turning point and seek fulfillment in all areas of life that you have been working on since the beginning of the year. This is a time when you can find the balance between the material and the spiritual.

Taurus is the opposite sign of Scorpio. Taurus is the natural ruler of the 2^nd house of gains and Scorpio the natural ruler of the 8^th house of loses. The only gains from the 8^th house come from a partner, investments or from inheritance.

Both signs could see financial gains which reflect their self-worth. If these signs feel confident and open, they can attract abundance and wonderful experiences. If they feel down and not self-confident, they could lose money or just not attract new gains into their lives.

The two Yod’s have the Sun and Mercury conjunct in Taurus at the eye of the Yod in this full Moon chart. Both inconjunct the rising sing of Libra and Jupiter in Sagittarius. Yod’s create tension and imbalance. Tensions that need opportunities to calm the stress down.

If your born under the sign of Sagittarius or Libra, you can attract wonderful opportunities to you, but you must act. Taurus is at the eye of the Yod’s. Taurus can be slow moving and sometimes the procrastinator of the Zodiac. This full Moon chart is asking these 3 signs to allow adjustments in your life through action and being open to new points of view.

Taurus does allow contentment through simple observation of nature. Sagittarius wants adventure and Libra wants to be involved in relationships. All these things will manifest strongly for these three signs till the new Moon on June 3^rd. Watch where the adjustments need to be made and allow more changes in your life.

Mercury enters the sign of Gemini where it feels comfortable on the 21st. For those with Sun, Moon or rising in Gemini, your communications skills will be lively till June 4^th.

Thoughts in the mind will be lively and multi-tasking will seem so natural you may do three things at the same time and not lose any rhythm in the process. Breath deeply to settle the mind down however as the mind may get overloaded at times.
