Astrological Forecast for December 2019

Jupiter moves into the sign of Capricorn on December 2^nd giving the sign of Capricorn good fortune. After you read this column you will understand why Jupiter will save Capricorn’s from falling off the deep end this month and into January and February of 2020.

Capricorn is a sign affiliated with big business and big government. Working hard and being practical. Following traditional rules and regulations. Saturn is the natural ruler of Capricorn and Saturn is transiting in Capricorn presently.

If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Capricorn you will be going through the most changes in December of 2019 through the beginning of March of 2020. I will explain this later in this monthly column.

Mercury moves into the optimistic sign of Sagittarius on December 9^th. This gives those with Sun, Moon or rising in Sagittarius inspiration to think (Mercury) about what really matters to them. Since the Sun entered Sagittarius last month and the new Moon was in Sagittarius on November 26^th, Sagittarius energies are increased.

Sagittarius represents higher ethical laws handed down by the Supreme Court. Philosophy, religion, higher states of consciousness, foreign lands and languages, long distance traveling as well as in-laws.

Sagittarius is normally ruled by Jupiter and they have good luck on their side. Many Sagittarians marry late and reach for higher degrees in education as this sign rules your college years of study. It’s a great time for studies and taking an exam. Mercury will stay in Sagittarius till December 28^th.

The full Moon is in the sign of Gemini at 19 degrees (12:12AM EST) on December 12^th.

This full Moon chart is loaded with lots of tension regarding communications in our government. Jupiter, South Node, Saturn, Venus and Pluto are all in Capricorn and 3 of the planets are inconjunct this full Moon.

This means that a very sloppy energy regarding clear communication within the impeachment process is going to cause many Americans to shut off the T.V. or switch the channel so they don’t have to listen to a mess of illusions ( Moon square to Neptune and opposing Sun) during the holiday season. Neptune clouds the truth and the inconjunctions add tension. Inconjunctions have nothing in common.

If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Gemini, you need to be careful how you communicate at work as the Moon is conjunct the vocational house cusp. Thank God Pluto, Venus and Saturn are trine to the rising sign of Virgo to add some order to a chaotic chart.

It is in the workplace that things can get gossipy and bosses can wield their power over their employees and make them feel like they would rather be home than at work. Breath deeply. Take a walk to get some fresh air.

Christmas parties are going to be noisy with cheer. Mercury is in direct motion and left its shadow from its recent retrograde period on December 7^th helping to ease some of the miscommunications that could happen.

Venus enters Aquarius on December 20^th. If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Aquarius you are attracting more abundance into your life and increasing your charm that could attract more love into your life. This energy runs from the December 20^th, 2019 till January 14^th, 2020.

Sun moves into Capricorn at 11:19PM EST and begins the Winter Solstice. Wishing everyone a wonderful and safe season. Happy birthday to Capricorn.

We have a new Moon solar eclipse in Capricorn at 4 degrees (12:13AM EST) on December 26th. Eclipses are more intense than a normal new or full Moon. This new Moon chart is less stressful than the full Moon chart, but it packs a powerful punch to for the sign of Capricorn.

If you have Sun, Moon or rising in Capricorn as well as other planets in Capricorn you are at a crossroads in your life. We have Sun, Moon, Jupiter, South Node, Saturn and Pluto all in Capricorn. Saturn and Pluto are just 2 degrees away from an exact conjunction that will happen on January 11^th and 12^th and the energy carries on through the end of February till Saturn can move away from Pluto.

Capricorns can be obsessed with work at this time. Family members will need to remind them that they need some time to relax and play and not get so serious about their work and everything else. Family life needs attentions and many goats may feel the need to renounce what they have. This combination causes endings as Saturn and Pluto together can be transformational to structure.

Saturn loves tradition and security within structure. If it’s a false structure it will be transformed. Things that are hidden are ruled by Pluto. Secrets that were kept in order to be in a more powerful position. Whatever Capricorn has been hiding is going to be challenged to a point where those things that have been kept secret are not longer able to be hidden.

Capricorn squares Aries, Cancer and Libra. These signs as well as Scorpio are wanting to shed their skin and release tensions surrounding secrets in their lives. The traditional ways don’t work anymore. A huge change of direction in the areas ruled by Capricorn in your chart are up for A CHANGE. Look to your natal birth chart and see which areas of life are ruled by Capricorn and the other signs mentioned to see where the transformations will be taking place.

The impeachment process is a product of this combination and BOTH parties are going to have to come to a balance point with the hidden powers at play. I don’t know what will happen, but I do know that by the middle of January of 2020, a specific direction will take place and circumstances can come up for people who are in positions of power.

I am talking mostly about the leaders of both parties. 2020 will be an election year and having any energies that are uncertain can swing votes in either direction. Could this be the time that leaders such as the President, house speaker and a leader of the Supreme Court are forced to change in their positions of power? I will write more about his in my January column.

Nancy Pelosi wants an impeachment vote in the house by December 20^th. I think what happens between December 12^th and the 20^th will determine if that will manifest. I think most Americans would agree this is the worst time to do this as we approach our traditional family holidays to celebrate our cherished values.

It will be in the middle of January that final choices of direction will take place in order to allow a more clear direction as to how both parties are to proceed especially the Democratic Party which is already flooded with too many candidates and no clear direction on how they will win in 2020.

The new Moon solar eclipse is an opportunity to begin new ways of life for the signs mentioned earlier. Capricorn is most influenced. How will they proceed with their vocational direction? How will they change their cold and calculated plans in relationships in order to keep them alive? Can they learn to have fun sometimes? Can they let go of traditional ways of doing things?

These are a few of the questions that will haunt the sign of Capricorn and what they hold onto with all their strength will not survive anymore. They need to learn the lesson of letting go.

The affirmation this month is “I LET GO OF THE OLD AND EMBRACE ALL THE WONDERFUL NEW THAT THE UNIVERSE HAS FOR ME”. Said daily it will help to let the energies of Saturn and Pluto do their work without all the stress and strain.
