Dealing with Anxiety and Depression (Especially Now)
by Ellie Pechet, M.Ed.
Take a moment to check in with yourself... Are you feeling more anxious, depressed or isolated since the corona virus started? In only a matter of months, our world as we have known it has changed in so many ways.
Change causes stress - especially when there is a lot of it.
You are not alone if the pandemic has caused you to feel more discouraged or helpless than usual. And if you were already prone to anxiety or depression, the virus has probably increased these painful symptoms. It is challenging to need to adapt when there is so much uncertainty. Of course your stress level is higher than your "normal". Anxiety affects about 40 million people over the age of 18 in the U.S. so if you are experiencing anxiety you are not alone, especially now.
The more balanced and connected within we become, the less we will be affected by outside circumstances. And the more we heal our core wounds, the better we can deal with change and be in the flow, rather than feel like we are swimming against the current which is exhausting.
psychom.net states that “Roughly 50% of people diagnosed with depression with also be diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Many people with depression may experience what is known as “anxious distress” in addition to their low mood. People with anxious distress often feel tense, restless, and have trouble concentrating because they worry so much. They are deeply afraid that something bad is going to happen...” https://www.psycom.net/anxiety-depression-difference

Recent Testimonials:
" I am very picky about my healers and I'm so grateful I found Ellie. She is deeply and energetically thorough, meaning she really gets to the core of the issues and takes her time making sure she is working to release the blocks that have built up over time. It's hard to put into words, but I've had so many synchronicities, and connection to my guides and inner wisdom, not to mention doors opening that have been closed for years. I sent my husband and after his first session, I could see the difference in him as well. This is a long overdue transformation in my marriage, that therapists, and other healers couldn't get to. I believe we are all in an Ascension time and everyone needs Ellie's work to help clear the timelines and programs that keep us disempowered. If you want freedom from your suffering, call Ellie."
