Dear Jennifer,

I had a cat named Little Kit who passed nine years ago. Would you please ask her if she has reincarnated? If not, is she around me? Does she think about me? Will she return to me?

Dear Dawn,

Little Kit says she hasn’t reincarnated and visits you often. She says she's always thinking about you, and is very connected to you energetically.

As for returning to you, Little Kit is saying it's in part up to you. She's playing a role in Spirit comforting people who have transitioned suddenly, and often what we would consider "too young". She's content to keep doing that, combined with watching over you. But, she's also saying that if you need her to be with you now, she could talk to her guides about reincarnating. She knows you feel like you're separated more than she does, and she's sorry, and is open to doing what will give you the most peace. She feels there are other cats who could take over her current role in Spirit if needed.

Little Kit’s description of her “job” led me to ask her, out of my own interest, if she is helping souls who have crossed due to covid-19. Her reply was that more animals have been called in to help due to these souls. She explained that it’s not that there has been what seems to her to be a dramatic increase in people who are crossing. However, there are more who are in need of extra comfort.

She would like people who have lost loved ones to know that it is not the passing without family members with them that was difficult for them. No one crosses without loving Spirit beings there to assist them. And, while there was of course some fear while they were sick, it was gone in the moments before they passed, as well as thereafter. Little Kit says that those who are struggling are mainly people who feel it was their fault that they got sick, and feel regret for having left family members behind, or having left things undone. They are being taught to love and accept themselves without judgment, receiving comfort and love, and being assisted in transitioning to their new existence in Spirit.

Additionally, Little Kit said that souls who crossed from covid at a younger age are having a harder time adapting, and they are also receiving lots of extra comfort and support. She wants their families to know they are fine, and surrounded by unconditional love. She would also like for people to know that those who were unconscious before crossing, especially if it was for a prolonged period of time, had already largely disconnected from their bodies, and did not suffer.
