Astrological Forecast for May 2022

The astrological energy for May 2022 is busy. That means lots of growth due to challenges that provide lessons to learn.
We just had our first eclipse of 2022 on April 30th with Pluto stationing retrograde the day before, on April 29th.
Please read my Pluto return for U.S.A article in “Celebrity Spotlight.” Our next U.S.A Pluto return will be around July 11th and the last one around December 28th both in 2022.
May shows Venus moving into the warrior sign of Aries, Mother’s Day, Mercury turning retrograde in Gemini, Jupiter moving into Aries, total full Moon eclipse in Scorpio, Sun entering Gemini, Mercury moving into Taurus, Mars into Aries, and a new Moon in Gemini at the end of May. That’s a lot of activity.
Let’s start off with Venus moving into Aries on April 2nd. If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Aries, you are ready to act and move quickly in all areas of your life.
Venus in Aries allows the sign of Aries to attract abundance and romance. This energy is fertile till Mars moves into Taurus on July 6th. Lots of time for Aries to manifest what they want in life.
However, Aries also is the sign that has the least amount of patience unless an earth sign adds stability in one’s birth chart to temper the aggressive nature of this warrior sign.
Aries can visualize and manifest what they want from the beginning of May till the beginning of July 2022 but must be careful not to act so quickly that they get into a physical accident and injure a part of their body especially the head area ruled by the ram.
Mother’s Day is on May 8th. Happy Mother’s Day to all mother’s including Mother Earth.
Mercury will turn retrograde on May 10th and 12 hours later Jupiter moves into Aries. Mercury starts its retrograde motion in Gemini at 4 degrees and stations direct on June 3rd at 26 degrees of Taurus.
If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Gemini, you are working on writing and communication projects from within. Planning on authoring a book or editing a current project at work, this is a time of deep reflections from May 10 till 23rd while Mercury is in Gemini.
Any form of communications made during this time for Gemini’s could be met with resistance or words being taken out of context. Better to remain quieter and communicating with yourself from within and putting your wonderful skills of communication to work towards a productive goal such as authoring a book or finishing a project that requires research at your present job.
Then, from May 23rd till June 14th, Mercury will be traveling through the sign of Taurus retrograde till June 3rd and moving direct till June 14th in the sign of Taurus.
If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Taurus, you are evaluating your financial goals. Where is the balance? If out of balance financially, how do I make practical steps till the middle of 2023 to correct any debt in my life.
If you have abundance working for you, this is the time you may want to pull some of your investments into a more secure place such as gold, silver, gemstones, old coins, and real estate for long term investments rather than traditional ways of investment.
Even thou the GDP is good, unemployment is low and the numbers on wall street are still stable, I don’t see this being the case by the next Pluto return in U.S.A chart which will be around the 1st half of July 2022.
Much of the financial stability depends on the covid ghost not coming back and the war in Ukraine coming to and end.
Mercury retrograde has communication and financial breakdowns that we are already seeing even before the war started.
Inflation is really hurting Americans as the natal Pluto of U.S.A. is in the 2nd house of financial gains. Pluto creates transformation and Uranus in its fall in the financial sign of Taurus, is at its halfway degree, 15 degrees, on the total full Moon eclipse May 16th in the sign of Scorpio which is the sign of debt.

Remember, we had our first partial solar eclipse in Taurus with Pluto turning retrograde at the end of April, Venus, and Jupiter both moving into Aries by the 10th of May.
Vladimir Putin is planning a victory day parade in Russia on May 9th. Here is the definition of Victory Day.
“Victory Day is a holiday that commemorates the surrender of Nazi Germany in 1945. It was first inaugurated in the 15 republics of the Soviet Union, following the signing of the German instrument of Surrender late in the evening on May 8, 1945. The Soviet government announced the victory early on May 9th after the signing ceremony in Berlin. Although the official inauguration occurred in 1945, the holiday became a non-Labor Day only in 1965, and only in certain Soviet republics”.
We must wonder what Putin has planned from the new Moon solar eclipse in Taurus on April 30th till May 9th. New Moon’s start the new plan in action as Venus moves into Aries and Jupiter expands war by May 10th in the sign of Aries. I am writing this article on April 24th.
One thing is for sure, as long as Vladmir Putin is alive, the war is alive. Vladimir Putin has progressed Mars awfully close to his North Node in Aquarius and will not make an exact conjunction to it, which would be and exact opposition to his South Node in Leo, around August of 2022.
Therefore, if Vladimir Putin is able to live till August the war could last that long and other countries surrounding Ukraine could be under attack. NATO would be forced to get involved. The nuclear possibilities are there and U.S.A Pluto return must be applied with action and not just giving weapons to Ukraine.
Who is most effected with the total full Moon eclipse in Scorpio on May 16th at 25 degrees (12:14AM EDT) that is a major political player? President Biden.
President Biden has his Sun in at 27 degrees, Venus at 28 degrees, Mercury at 21 degrees and Mars at 12 degrees all in Scorpio in the 12th house of karma and places of confinement like hospitals.
This shows he will be forced to deal with this war head on as well as issues at home like inflation on all goods and services including oil as Pluto rules both oil and nuclear energy. Violence from humans and mother nature in America also. This energy runs till October 25th of 2022 from the start of the total full Moon lunar eclipse on May 16th.
This is a challenging month for NATO and its depleting reputation to protect innocent humans and children. UFO activity could play a huge part in disallowing a nuclear war by showing up just when things get dangerous with nuclear energy. Obviously, things have already been dangerous for human life in Ukraine over the last 2 months.
Enough about politics.
This total full Moon lunar eclipse chart with Mercury retrograde in Gemini creates a major shift for the signs of Gemini and all the fixed signs, Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.
If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Scorpio, this total full Moon eclipse is shinning light on your personal habits that need to change. Habit’s, you have had most of your life that do not serve you anymore.
A fixed T-Square, where the sign of Leo represents the missing leg, shows Leo is the most stable out of the other three fixed signs. The sign of Leo represents leadership positions such as managers and political leaders.
The sign of Pisces is benefiting the most from this total eclipse as Mars and Neptune are conjunct in Pisces sextile to the rising sign of Capricorn. Opportunities will manifest for Pisces from May 16 till the 24th. Visualize and desire what you want, and it will be at your fingertips. Swim with the current not against it during this time.
Moon in Scorpio is in its fall, and this is the darker side of Scorpio. Add in a total, not partial eclipse, and conjunct the South Node in Scorpio opposing the Sun, North Node and Uranus all in Taurus. Mercury is retrograde in Gemini opposing the full Moon.
Scorpio is affiliated with the Hindu God Shiva which transform’s energy through loss. By emptying all the house furniture, we are able move new furniture in. Scorpio is affiliated with death also so we could see violence from humans and mother nature continue to be an issue as mentioned earlier.
Communication breakdowns between those born under the sign of Gemini and Scorpio are abundant with this combination so don’t take everything you see or hear seriously. Humans being fed fake news will be active from the 16th till the 30th of May.
Also, eclipse energy lasts up to six months, so this energy is strong till October of 2022.
“I LET OF THE OLD AND EMBRACE ALL OF THE WONDERFUL NEW THAT THE UNIVERSE HAS FOR ME.” This continues the same affirmation I gave in the month of April.
Another useful affirmation for the month of May is, “I EMBRACE NEW LIFE, NOW.” Very helpful to all the fixed signs including the mutable sign of Gemini.
Whatever is said is not the final outcome till the middle of June when the Mercury retrograde will be fully out of its shadow.
Sun enters Gemini on May 20th. Happy birthday to the sign of Gemini.
Mercury moves into Taurus on May 22nd and Venus moves into Taurus on May 28th showing the sign of Taurus continuing its influence though the middle of June.
This is an opportunity for those with Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Taurus to create abundance and attract romance or increase presence of romance if it already exists.
Taurus is affiliated with all forms of beauty, and it adds a stabilizing energy to the impatient Aries energy that is running high as Mars moves into Aries on May 24th.
Mars is strong in Aries and needs the Taurus earth element to be steady and practical while Mars in Aries wants to move quickly and blow over everyone and everything on its path.
On Memorial Day, May 30th, we have a new Moon in Gemini at 9 degrees (7:30AM EDT). This is the new life that Gemini’s want to start moving forward as the Mercury retrograde is starting to move slowly before it stations direct on June 3rd. This is the official day the beaches open in New England and increase social life.
Whatever the signs of Gemini and Taurus have been thinking deeply about, this is the time to start implementing those new well thought out plans. It may still feel al bit slow moving forward till the middle of June as the Sun and Moon are both unaspected in this new Moon chart.
This will make the signs of Gemini and Taurus feel like they are lost and just don’t know where they belong in life. This energy is strong till the middle of June. Questions may arise like, where is my place in this world? Can I connect with anything or anybody at this point? Deep reflection on what choices to make.
Hang in there because by June 3rd, which is only a few days after the new Moon, you will feel much differently. One thing about the weather of life. It’s always changing and never stays the same for too long.
The signs of Taurus, Aries, Pisces, and Aquarius do have planets in their dignity which is strong and comfortable and these signs experiencing the most advances this month.
Scorpio is advancing but they must travel through a darker tunnel in order to reach the light at the other end.
In May, keep praying for humanity that the violence in the world calms down. Take your meditation practices more seriously if you haven’t in the past. Take the time everyday for at least 20 minutes to pray or just sit quietly with the mind. ‘
The world needs us more than ever to allow light to shine and eliminate the darkness. I pray that every child and adult is safe and finding peace inside. The peace that passes all understanding.
