My cat Sunny passed away several years ago. I miss him terribly and am wondering if he’s okay. Where is he? What is he doing? Does he visit me?

Dear Tali,

Sunny is very excited to communicate with you. He says he’s never left you, and he doesn’t want you to think that he has. He never wants you to feel alone, because when you’re feeling sad or lonely, he always comes to your side and curls up right on you. He’s showing me an image like he’s partially on a bed or sofa, and partially on you, with his head on your chest. He’s saying it’s still his favorite place to be.

Sunny wants you to know that he’s fine. He’s with another cat in Spirit who is his best friend, and says more cats keep joining them. One of them belonged to a male friend of yours, and they’ve become fast friends. He wants you to know that they’re all okay. He’s sort of the leader of their little pack, and helps “new arrivals” adjust, and just generally is very nurturing of his friends there. They all spend part of their time in Spirit, and part visiting their humans in their old homes. Sometimes a cat is there but then reincarnates. Sunny says he and his best friend are just staying where they are for now - they feel they’re able to be more helpful in Spirit sending love and support to you, and able to visit you whenever you need them.

Sunny wants you to never forget that he’s there for you, as are two of the other cats with him that I feel were also yours. They all love you so much! He wants you to know that you can talk to them, and call out for them to come to you, and they’ll hear you and be at your side instantly if they’re not already there. He keeps repeating that you’re never alone, and to please not feel like you’re alone. They’re with you. They’ve been with you in both the happy times and the hard times, and will always be there for you. He says you don’t have to face anything on your own.

When Sunny isn’t with you, he says he spends a lot of his time just lounging around, much like when he was alive. He’s showing me an outdoor setting with grass and shady trees. There’s an indoor setting, too, but he says he likes being outdoors more, and gets most of his indoor time when he’s visiting you. He says not to worry about him, because in his Spirit body he’s not in any danger being outside. Sometimes he likes to run around and play with the other cats. He says they can play as much as they want because they never get tired.

Sunny sends his love, and another reminder that he’s with you always.
