Astrological Forecast for June 2023

June reminds us of life at the beach for those who love to be out in the Sun which produces life.

The Mercury retrograde period for the last month, the month of May, was very difficult for so many people. I heard of communication breakdowns, school lockdowns from gun violence, people getting sick and needing hospital care, family disputes and many of the issues involved with Mercury retrogrades including car and computer technologies needing some extra attentions.

It was on May 31^st that Mercury started to move out of its shadow, and we won’t have another Mercury retrograde till August 23^rd.

June will feel much better as we don’t have any eclipses or Mercury retrogrades.

The full Moon on June 3^rd is in the sign of Sagittarius at 13 degrees (11:42PM EDT). If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Sagittarius, you are thinking about the big questions in life and maybe doing some extra studies to brush up on your skills in a specific area of your chosen vocation.

This full Moon chart has 5 T-Squares in it and continues the tradition that the last 2 full Moon had. T-squares create lots of tensions or obstacles that need to find balance.

The Sun signs with most of the tensions from June 3^rd till the new Moon on June 18^th are Taurus, Aquarius, Cancer, Sagittarius, Pisces, and Gemini.

If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in these signs you may have stressful situations regarding your need to mature and grow by letting go of habits and thoughts that no longer serve you or anyone else around you.

Birth and death issues, so others may be passing on that you are close too or you may be spreading yourself too thin and need to let go of some responsibilities to create balance in the T-squares. Don’t overwork.

The world could use some quiet time so find the time for meditation. I teach “Inner Grace Meditation” which is the deepest form of mediation practices. Get the deep rest you need and add some waves of peace and joy to your surrounding environment.

The affirmation for signs effected by the T-squares mentioned earlier in this column can say the following affirmation to allow life to flow better. “I LET GO OF THE OLD AND EMBRACE ALL OF THE WONDERFUL NEW THAT THE UNIVERSE HAS FOR ME”.

The full Moon is in Sagittarius and this sign is involved in international affairs so we will see tensions in international policies as we have seen over the last couple of years but more magnified.

The signs of Scorpio and Virgo fill in the T-squares so if you’re one of the signs mentioned earlier that are involved in the tensions this month, seek out the signs of Scorpio and Virgo to get a balanced perspective on issues you are confronted with.

The good news is we have a grand trine in water signs. If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces, being near water can allow you to have wonderful spiritual and calming experiences. Being with family and friends at the beach is ideal from June 3^rd till June 18^th. The water element can calm down the tensions of the T-squares. Also, drink plenty of fresh clean water.

Financial stability is at hand with Jupiter in Taurus. I’m writing this column on May 24^th and the debt ceiling needs to be raised by the beginning of June. With Jupiter as the great benefic, it most likely will be ironed out. After all, the members of congress in Washington, D.C., make a lot more money than the average citizen so they would be hurt most if they don’t raise the debt ceiling and DELAY a financial fallout.

Venus moves into Leo on June 5^th so if you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Leo, you have some extra charm to attract abundance and new relationships. This is a fun time.

Venus normally takes 23 days to move through a sign, but Venus will station retrograde on July 23^rd at 28 degrees of Leo. When a planet stations retrograde at the ending degrees, there are 30 degrees orbs in astrology for houses and signs, then the planet in retrograde, this time being Venus, will stay in the same sign for the full retrograde period.

Venus moves into Leo on June 5^th, then it stations retrograde on July 23^rd, it will station direct on September 4^th at 12 degrees of Leo and lastly moves into the sign of Virgo on October 9^th, 2023.

This means that Venus will be in Leo from June 5^th till October 9^th, 2023, and will not be out of its retrograde shadow till October 7^th.

Those born under the sign of Leo will be fine from June 5^th till July 23^rd and then it’s into deep reflections about the areas of life that influences the 5^th house, the house ruled by Leo.

Romance and love affairs, speculation and gambling, children, sports, politics, performing arts and creativity. I will talk more about this in my July column.

Pluto moves back into Capricorn on June 11^th. We will be seeing the political juices of advertisement and promises from those running for office until Pluto stations direct on October 11, 2023, when it makes its last final Pluto return in the U.S.A chart.

Political leaders will try and hang onto outdated traditional policies, but it gets very tense not even a month before election day with Pluto wanting transformation in the financial markets. A new way of doing business is about to happen because Pluto will move back into Aquarius on January 21^st of 2024 around the time the next President is sworn in.

Aquarius is not the sign that enjoys doing business as usual and the more independent American’s become with Pluto moving into Aquarius, the more they want to be heard. Not something Capricorn (big government) enjoys.

Pluto in retrograde can awaken the underworld of oil, sex trafficking, drug dealers, pornography, increase in business for funeral polars, dark magic occult practices, nuclear bombs, and sneaky movements by politicians to try and win an election.

June 11^th also has Mercury moving into Gemini where this planet feels very comfortable with communications. If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Gemini you will be able to communicate well, and your communications will be received by others without much stress.

Saturn stations retrograde in the sign of Pisces on June 17^th, and this is a great time, especially for Pisces, to go deep within and seek answers for any areas of your life that need a plan to rebuild on until Saturn stations direct on November 4, 2023.

This is a good time for deep spiritual insights and building from the inside out rather than the outside in for the sign of Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio as well as the other mutable signs, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius.

Saturn normally rules Capricorn and Capricorn’s are the carpenters of the Zodiac. They love to build on something slowly and reach a goal of completion.

The new Moon on June 18^th is at 26 degrees of Gemini (12:37AM EDT). If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Gemini, you are starting new beginnings at work or in any relationship. There are little tensions in this new Moon chart compared to the full Moon chart.

This shows the second half of June being less stressful than the first half of June and since Mercury remains in Gemini till June 25^th, the mind is very clear, and communications are flawless for the sign of Gemini.

If you are a writer or reporter, your job will feel less stressful. Lots of new assignments/homework will be presented to start new directions in your life’s work and personal life. This is a great time to write a book or journal your feelings.

Happy Father’s Day on June 18^th. This new Moon Day is a wonderful time to start a fresh new energy of communication with the father figure of your family.

The Sun enters the sign of Cancer on June 21^st and starts the Summer Solstice at 10:58AM EDT. Happy birthday to the sign of Cancer. Happy Summer of 2023.

Cancer is a sensitive water sign. They are hurt easily by others remarks. Like the crab moving side to side, they try to navigate their way through life by avoiding emotional pain. Cancer is affiliated with our mothers as the Moon, which represents the mother and feminine energies, is the natural ruler of the sign of Cancer.

If you have Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Cancer, you have deep karmic ties to your mother. Family and patriotism are important to the sign of Cancer. Being family oriented and a water sign, the beach becomes the perfect stress release for the crab.

Is there any sound so joyous than the sound of children at the ocean as they are filled with excitement building sandcastles, catching jelly fish, small fish, and crabs, or collecting stones and bringing them back to mom or dad to remind us how magical life really is.

Mercury moves into Cancer on June 26^th and increases the sentimental moods of Cancer as the phases of the Moon bring the emotions of tide’s in and out. The highs of high tide and the lows of low tide. Mercury will remain in Cancer till July 11^th.

The affirmation for the sign of Cancer from June 21^st till July 11^th is, “I AM BALANCED IN MIND, EMOTIONS, BODY AND SPIRIT”.

June ends with Neptune stationing retrograde on June 30^th. Neptune is in the sign of Pisces, its natural ruler, and combined with Saturn retrograde in Pisces, it doesn’t get any deeper spiritually than this.

Neptune will station direct on December 6, 2023. From June 30^th till December 6^th, Pisces is in deep reflections about life and receives messages from other dimensions that normally would not be contacted.

This is also a time for U.F.O. sightings as the sensitive water etheric sign of Pisces tries to make contact with the Earthy practical planet of Saturn. Both Saturn and Neptune will be retrograde around the same time from June 30^th till December 6^th with Saturn stationing direct at the beginning of November 20023 around a month before Neptune stations direct.

I can’t think of a more spiritual time for those with the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Pisces. Whatever they are working on spiritually during the retrograde periods of both Saturn and Neptune will find fulfillment in the last days of 2023 and in most of 2024.
