Astrological Forecast for October 2024

October is here already but we don’t have to think about Daylight Savings, which should be eliminated for our own mental and emotional health, till November 3rd.
I am doing this column on September 22nd but wanted to wish President Jimmy Carter a happy 100th birthday which falls on October 1st. His wife Roselynn and Jimmy are soul twins, and she is waiting for him on the other side.
He is the longest living President of U.S.A history. If he has come this far, he most likely will reach 100 October 1st.
October 2nd starts off with a new Moon solar eclipse in Libra at 10 degrees. This is an annular eclipse.
An annular eclipse is a special type of solar eclipse in the sense that it is the closest to a total eclipse. The Moon is centered in front of the Sun but doesn’t completely obscure it and leaves a bright ring of sunlight visible around the Moon’s edges. Sometimes called “The Ring of Fire.” Annular eclipses occur once every two years.
Opposite of the full Supermoons, which are closer to the Earth than a normal full Moon, the annular new Moon eclipse is farthest away from the Earth.
If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Libra, you are feeling a fresh start in your life when it comes to how you relate to others. With the South Node also in Libra, this is a perfect time to clean up past issues in your relationships, even past life karma.
The South Node is finishing its year and a half transit in Libra so if you have been feeling like relationships from the past have showed up trying to hold you back, this is the reason.
Eclipse energy lasts up to six months so those with Libra energy are finishing their need to clean up relationship energy that started over a year and two months ago. When the South Node moves into Virgo in January of 2025, the lessons hopefully learned by Libra are complete.
Libra tends to give too much of itself in relationships to maintain balance so if you have Libra energy in your chart, especially within the first 18 degrees, make sure you are letting go of those relationships that are draining you.
It’s time to end any relationships that demand too much of you and move on to a better relationship with yourself and with others. Seek therapies to heal and align mind, body, and spirit.
A grand trine in water signs on this new Moon eclipse in Libra can help the signs of Pisces, Scorpio and Cancer relax and build a more solid foundation to their emotional sensitive nature. This means being more aware of what triggers you so you are learning the lessons of love. You can do this now and over the next six months.
Most of the harder lessons of maintaining balance are with the signs of Aries, Libra, Cancer, and Capricorn as there are three T-squares involved in the new Moon eclipse chart.
Chiron, the wounded healer, is filling in these T-squares asking the cardinal signs just mentioned to heal the open wounds caused in your relationships over the next 6 months.
We have two important holidays in the Jewish traditions coming up. One is Rosh Hashana, starting on October 2nd leading up to Yom Kippur on October 11th.
This all starts on the new Moon eclipse asking for forgiveness to those who harm you and celebrating a new life that offers peace. This comes at a time when there is so much tension in the Middle East.
Jupiter, the planet that rules international affairs, will station retrograde on October 9th at 21 degrees of Gemini and will not station direct till February 4th, 2025. This could be a time of changing directions to all the wars that are going on in the world. We will not know the outcome of this new energy till Jupiter stations direct.
Communications, Gemini, will need to be more carefully thought out regarding how humanity talks with each other. The news media will have less trust from its viewers.
The dramatic tone of the media needs to be calmed down and this Jupiter retrograde period could help as Jupiter tends to over communicate in Gemini when it’s in direct motion.
Pluto stations direct on October 11th in Capricorn at 27 degrees and will move back into Aquarius on November 19th, 2024, and never go back into Capricorn for another 248 years.
This stationary direct Pluto is about to finish the old traditional ways of Capricorn and implement new ways of life that have a fresh and young appeal to it. Aquarius is about the younger generation, and we could see record number of younger voters this time around than ever before in American politics.

The Age of Aquarius is about to manifest strongly until Pluto reaches three degrees of Aquarius in January of 2026 through November 2026. From November 19th, 2024, till November 2026, a great purification is happening, and I will discuss more of this soon regarding the transpersonal planets, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto forming a mine grand trine from May 2025 to May 2029.
Those born having the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Aquarius are ready to lead the world into a New Age of community living and a relationship with the laws of nature that is more balanced through advanced technological inventions as well as U.F.O. contact with other races that are technologically advanced and also more spiritually advanced.
Mercury moves into the deep waters of Scorpio on October 13th. If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Scorpio, you are delving more deeply into the motivations of those issues that rule the houses in your birth chart. You are not in the mood for superficial communication.
The full Moon on October 17th is a full Supermoon lunar eclipse. This is the third of four Supermoons in a row that started on the full Moon in August. Out of the four this Supermoon is closest and therefore larger in appearance than all the full Moons of 2024.
Because there is not an exact alignment, almost exact, it is not considered an eclipse but could be considered to be one.
This full Supermoon lunar eclipse is in Aries at 24 degrees and Aries has been very motivated over the last 18 months to lead and be most adventurous. They may have felt unsettled, but their confidence is at an all-time high.
If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Aries, you are continuing this obsessive need to rule the world with your warrior spirit. The last of several eclipses in Aries will be on March 29, 2025, and that energy ends in September of 2025.
Aries may have been most selfish during this time avoiding getting close in relationships and bit more demanding of their partners or business associates. However, they would have great leadership qualities without much patience.
This full Supermoon lunar eclipse is not only closer to the Earth than the other Supermoon eclipses of 2024, but the aspects between planets is very intense to say the least.
We have everything that you don’t want in this Supermoon. Several T-squares and a Yod (Finger of God). The grand trine, however, in water signs continues to add some calm and compassion in the mist of anger and violence.
I feel that this could be the time, and remember this is close to the American Presidential election, that chaos around the world will be at a maximum force. Violence could be the thing that swings the election in America as a main topic rather than one that is pushed under the rug.
If V.P. Kamala Harris or former President Trump cannot make it clear on how to control the violence both domestically and internationally, either one could lose the election based on humans wanting to feel safe. Holistic healthcare practices would be the key to balancing out all the collective stress in America and around the world.
I don’t have lots of faith that either candidate can put holistic healthcare front and center to heal the wounds of stress manifesting all over the place, but I still pray and believe that humans will eventually find their way to a more peaceful/healthy life at some point through holistic healthcare practices.
The full Supermoon lunar eclipse energy affects the cardinal signs the most , as mentioned earlier, and the water signs are the ones most stable during this time. Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
The Yod is pointing to the rising sign with the Sun in Libra on top of the rising sign.
Those born with the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Libra, Taurus and Pisces also, are making adjustments, Yod, to their lives in the midst of some chaos caused by unexpected, Uranus in Taurus, financial matters.
Financial adjustments can be healed through spiritual practices, Neptune in Pisces sextile to Uranus in Taurus, with both inconjunct the rising sign of Libra. Visualize deep down inside of you money manifesting.

This is a time of finding balance in America and around the world when it comes to the financial markets, compassion in humanity and justice for anyone who is harmed by any act of violence.
We will see the greatest efforts to find peace from October 17th to the new Moon on November 1st which is, “All Saints Day”. Turning to a higher power in whatever form or formless aspect you desire as the world looks very unstable from October 17th till November 1st.
Please visualize white and golden light around all political candidates during this time so they are safe from harm. America needs to calm down and be thankful for all the abundance we have.

Scorpio is the transformer of the Zodiac and the secret detective of life. They can renovate the world and themselves to look much better or they can destroy themselves with the darker energies of the Scorpio sting.
There are three levels of development in the sign of Scorpio. The lowest energy is the Scorpion itself with its poisonous sting. The second level is when they soar above the senses as the Eagle of renunciation. The third level is the Phoenix that ascends above all limited life into the eternal world of heaven.
Scorpio is the sign that goes through the most growth in one lifetime due to the ever-changing experiences of birth and death in all ways. I can’t find a Scorpio person who has not lost a loved one or someone close to them.
Therefore, they can make great hospice workers to help others cross to the other side and many funeral owners have Scorpio energy.
