Astrological Forecast for February 2025

We start off February with the vitality of Aquarius. The reason for this is we just had a new Moon in Aquarius on January 29^th which completes its intentions on the next full Moon in Leo on February 12^th.

Here is a reminder of what the new Moon in Aquarius means. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, and Pluto as well as the part of fortune in this new Moon chart starts to roll out some of the elements and issues that Aquarius represents throughout 2025.

New innovative technologies, an increased interest in astrology, communities standing up for themselves and wanting to claim their own self-empowerment, the value of friendships and working in small groups.

The new Moon of January 29th offers opportunity and growth to the signs of Gemini, Aquarius, Sagittarius, and Pisces. These signs will benefit in all areas of their lives from January 29th till the next full Moon on February 12th, 2025.

We could call 2025, the year of “Disclosures” as Pluto and Mercury are separating revealing things that have been hidden “Pluto” coming to the surface to be talked about “Mercury”.

President Trump is on a roll with releasing top-secret files of JFK and Jr as well as Martin Luthur King. Many UFO followers are wondering if President Trump will also release those files that have been hidden over the last 75 years.

Both Aquarius and Pisces are starting a new life filled with unlimited possibilities.

Mars, the planet of war, courage, adventure, physical strength and vitality, has been retrograde since December 6, 2024 and will finally station direct on February 23, 2025.

This long retrograde period influenced that sign of Cancer the most. In the sign of Cancer, Mars is in its fall. This weak placement can cause those with the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Cancer to feel less productive.

This comes at a time when most of us are experiencing the depth of the winter/hibernation season. Therefore, you may feel sluggish and tired and want to sleep for hours on end. Combine this with the vibrational frequency turned up and it causes purification of the mind, body, and soul.

Health is at the top of the list for both the signs of Cancer and Leo since Mars started its retrograde motion in the sign of Leo. It will not have as much of an influence on Leo since Leo is vital anyhow as it is ruled by the Sun.

Take the time to meditate and do breathing techniques to flush out the sluggish and very emotional water sign of Cancer. This sign is moody, but Mars retrograde can intensify the emotions.

The California fires have been influenced by Mars in retrograde motion in the water sign of Cancer. Homes and families, ruled by Cancer, have had to unexpectedly move out of their homes and many have lost them. God help them repair their lives.

This is also the case for Florida and N. Carolina, which had strong hurricanes. Around the time of the California fires, just before it started, Pluto was opposing Mars which would indicate an aggressive (Mars) energy that would transform (Pluto) real estate from troubles with water (Cancer).

In this case the water was not available, Mars in retrograde motion, and this situation is still active but much more in control by the time Mars turns direct on February 23^rd.

Groundhog Day is on February 2^nd, and I’ve recently seen lots of Robins outside so this could indicate an early spring without having to wait for Mr. or Mrs. groundhog to show up.

Venus will Move into Aries on February 4^th and give the sign of Aries attractive power to earn more money and increase romance till Venus stations retrograde on March 2^nd.

Aries should take advantage of this Venus transit because when it turns retrograde from March 2^nd to April 13^th, 2025, both Aries and Pisces want to think things over more and wonder if they are headed in the right direction from the connections they make in January with people especially in their personal life.

Jupiter will station direct on February 4^th, the same day Venus moves into Aries, and Jupiter has been retrograde in the sign of Gemini since October 9, 2024.

This was good for the signs of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. These signs would have been making some big plans in new directions for their vocational life and find diverse ways to market themselves through various social media platforms.

When Jupiter turns direct on February 4^th, it’s a green light for these four signs to move forward and gain support from any efforts to expand (Jupiter) via marketing and advertising.

If these signs felt held back or did not get enough response to their marketing efforts, this is a much better time to move forward with Jupiter out of its retrograde shadow in the last week of April.

The full Moon on February 12^th is in the sign of Leo at 24 degrees (8:53AM EST). If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Leo, you are feeling more fulfilled in the areas of your chart that Leo rules.

Mercury is conjunct with the Sun in Aquarius, the opposite sign of Leo, so Leo wants to let everyone know how they feel especially those who may be in disagreements with them. This may be a time when both Aquarius and Leo make choices as to who they can trust as their friends or lovers.

Leo loves entertainment so an exciting time to go out and socialize as the winter blues needs some inspirational energy to ease the hibernation season especially for Leo and Cancer ruled people.

Two T-squares in this full Moon chart between the fixed signs of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius shows communication breakdowns and financial stress. This is a time when the light of the full Moon may bring up issues in these areas you have swept under the rug of the sub-couscous mind that needs attention.

Turn to the sign of Scorpio for advice as Scorpio fills in the missing leg of the T-squares offering financial and psychological advice to the other signs mentioned.

Mercury moves into Pices on Valentine’s Day, February 14^th, just in time to communicate thoughts and feelings of romance. Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone.

President’s Day is on the 17^th and the 18^th has the Sun moving into the sensitive waters of Pisces. Happy birthday to those born under the sign of Pisces.

Mars will station direct on February 23^rd as mentioned earlier in this column. The sign of Cancer should start to feel the emotional sluggish energy of this retrograde period relax more by March 1^st.

The new Moon in Pisces on February 27^th at 9 degrees (7:45PM) looks more relaxed than the recent full Moon in Leo.

However, this new Moon chart is all about Pisces since the Sun, Moon, Saturn, Mercury, North Node and Neptune are all in Pisces.

If you have the Sun, Moon, rising or planets in Pisces you are starting a deep journey towards the spiritual dimensions of life. This gives opportunities for deep meditation and listening to your internal dialogue as the messages received will be noticeably clear in whatever direction you want to take.

What a great period from February 27^th till the total full Moon eclipse in Virgo on March 14, 2025, for Pisces to experience higher states of consciousness.

The other mutable signs are Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius, also affected by this new Moon energy. All four of these signs will be more sensitive to their environment with ability to tune into their intuitive gifts clearing the way for deep questions about how to move forward in their lives.

Pisces will be tested during this new Moon cycle ending on March 14^th when it comes to addictive habits that they want to temper. Pisces has a choice in this time period to let go of habits that sabotage their ability to connect with God or a higher source of energy that brings physical energy and self-confidence.

When Pisces settles for addictive pleasures such as overeating, drinking of alcohol, drugs, gambling, or sexual pleasures, this could bring them to places inside themselves they would rather not visit anymore.

As Saturn moves towards its entrance in Aries on May 24^th, it leaves behind Pisces and it’s the sign of Aires turn to walk a straight line. This could be the time that Pisces feels they get a break from the past two and half years of Saturn moving through the sign of the fish.

Self-love is so important for Pisces. Therefore, the following affirmation said once before bed and once when you awake in the morning can help heal any victim complexes that Pisces is known for.

“I LOVE YOU …… YOUR NAME…. I THINK YOU’RE REAL WONDERFUL, YOU’RE VERY SPECIAL AND YOU’RE WORTH ALL OF THE WONDERFUL THINGS THAT YOU CAN IMAGINE.”

This affirmation can be said by anyone who feels they need to create more self-confidence in their lives. The water signs can use this affirmation the most and those who have troubled Mercury or Moon placements.
