Divine Wisdom From Michele Livingston

Dear Catherine,

It was very courageous of your young daughter to keep her baby, knowing he wouldn’t survive. That’s where faith and hope come in. We are born with members of our soul group, which include parents, siblings, our children, husbands, friends and so on. Before a soul group incarnates, there are agreements made with each other on the other side. A parent may choose to have and keep a baby, knowing that he will be disabled, as with Down’s syndrome or other conditions. That is free choice. A soul from the other side may also change his or her mind and retract from the mother’s body before birth (miscarriage) or immediately after birth (still born). Many times a soul agreement contains lessons that are to be learned by both parties, such as patience, emotional strength, determination or courage, to name a few. It is also comforting to know in situations that involve loss of a loved one that we will indeed connect with them again in the next realm, as love (like the human soul) is eternal.

Children in the formative years (1 to 5) are still very connected with other dimensions, since their souls have not been in their bodies very long. Also, when a child passes at a young age, their soul energy is very strong and can (and will) communicate frequently. Electrical occurrences are the most common, as we know, because the soul itself is electromagnetic energy and can travel through electrical circuits. It is not uncommon for doorbells and phones to ring, appliances and equipment to turn on and off, digital clocks to flash numbers (which can correlate with specific dates), radios or TVs switching channels, lights flickering, and the list goes on!

One of my clients lost her precious 3-year-old grandson (who had brain cancer) a couple of years ago. As traumatic as it was for her (and her family), she told me it was comforting to know that she’d find pennies throughout her house in the most obscure places – under her pillow at night, in the kitchen sink, on her window sill. She shared that when her grandson would visit her and his grandpa, he’d always reach for the penny jar to play with them. Since she and her husband live alone, she’s convinced these happenings are the grandson’s playful spirit, getting her attention.

If you’ve never been aware of occurrences like this before, then I’d say it’s your grandbaby. There is a slight possibility that it could be another relative’s soul (such as your parents or grandparents) communicating to say your grandson is all right and in the light with them. These experiences are not mere random coincidences, but a repetitive reaching out to you to say, "All is well." Be aware too, of other signs of communications, such as dreams, objects being moved around in your home, sensations, smells and even messengers in nature (such as birds and butterflies). I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your beagle. Pets teach us unconditional love and we sorely miss them. Some animals, like humans, do not want us to experience trauma while watching them pass, so they choose to leave before we get there or while away from us. In this case your "baby" did not feel pain, had a peaceful and fairly quick passing and gave you a chance to say goodbye. I feel animals do not house human souls, although each species is a part of a sea of consciousness – one for canine energy, one for feline, one for equine and so on. Once we love and befriend an animal, their energy is with us forever. Sometimes they choose to come back in another animal (of the same species), and some will wait for us to arrive on the other side. Your beagle surely has a place in eternity. Because of your love for each other, you will meet again since the energy of love never dies.
