Most mothers are extremely proud of their children, yet from your description, Ashanna (beautiful name) does seem quite advanced for her age. It is very possible that she is a "Star Child," who incarnated on the earth plane from the stars! Over time I’ve had other parents asking similar questions about their children.

Some people incarnate into the earth from the higher regions of the universe — the star belts — Pleiades, Arcturus, Orion, Sirius, and other areas in the galaxy. In other words, we don’t all incarnate into the earth plane each time, some of us incarnate to star belt planes for higher learning and development. Those who are born into the earth from these higher realms (I call them star children) are very sensitive. They do not like loud, abrasive people. They can’t stand bright, harsh lights or loud, discordant music. They seek places of peace and quiet. There are many meditation chambers in the star belts, and incarnated souls from these regions seek to bring peace and love to the world in their own unique way. Even though these souls are peaceful in nature, they are strong and they will manifest their soul’s purpose and mission in their own way very early in life, regardless of whether it’s conventional or unconventional. As a result, people might react to these star children with, "Nobody can tell them what to do! They’re going to have their own way – or else!" They have a mind and will of their own.

With a child of this temperament, it’s very important to allow their creative gifts to manifest in their own way and in their own time. These souls are very spiritually evolved and because of this, many of them will become leaders and teachers in many areas of spiritual thought. Those who come to us from the stars are able to "go with the flow" and they handle changes easier than others do. When they encounter a roadblock, these souls will find a way to get around it — by going under, climbing over, or plowing through the obstacle! No challenge is too big for these souls.

Also, nature calls deeply for them. They are naturally attuned to the nature kingdoms, and they often feel closest to the universe when they are out among nature, seeing butterflies, taking in the other flowers and trees. They also are very psychically and spiritually aware of the higher senses, and it is not uncommon for star children to be able to see the nature spirits, fairies, gnomes, and elementals. We all have the capacity to become aware of these beings, but the star children seem to be naturally aware of them from a very early age.

People who incarnate to the earth from the realms of the stars are often gifted artists, musicians, writers, composers, dancers and singers. They are drawn to the arts because of their heightened sensitivity. Many of the souls that incarnate from these realms are different from the rest of the family; they frequently feel like an outcast or "odd man out."

If you are a parent or teacher of one of these highly evolved souls, be aware that they need nurturing and caring at deeper levels; and their interest in books, movies, and the arts might seem a bit peculiar or unusual. Help these souls find their place in this world through encouraging them to manifest their uniqueness, their individuality; and teach them that it is a gift from God that makes them so different. Otherwise, without this guidance, these sensitive souls can become withdrawn or depressed feeling that there is something wrong with them because "they don’t fit in." They need the important guidance that teaches them that it is a God given gift that they’re different from the "norm."

Many adults are "star children" as well. If you’ve had a pervasive feeling that you "didn’t fit" or didn’t belong here on earth, chances are you are one of these highly evolved souls.

Although the earthly life is difficult and challenging for "star people," they’ve come to the earth plane to learn important lessons on being human. Because of the highly sensitive realms the soul has journeyed from, this is never an easy task; the earth will never truly feel like "home." And that is because, in truth, the earth isn’t their home! It’s a very important school where they come to learn valuable lessons, but its temporary, and their true home is among celestial regions outside the three-dimensional world.

If these descriptions of the star children seem to fit you, take heart and don’t be discouraged. Know that you are blessed and overseen by the Higher Beings, and your presence in the earth is important; not only for your own soul development, but also for the development of others around you – who will be blessed because you are in the world. At those times when you feel most alone, or out of "sync" with the cares of the physical world, seek the peace that comes from going within through meditation. In the silence of your soul and spirit, seek the quiet time and ask for the strength, guidance and direction from the Creator – and it will be given to you. Know that you have a high mission and purpose in the earth realm now, and that you are needed. But do take time every day to commune within, to meditate, and to contemplate with the creative forces. From within you will be given the understanding and wisdom that the world cannot give you...and there, you will find peace.
